That one na the bottom of the 2008 global meltdown

Yeah, I know.

The safer point for me will be a midpoint between that 2012 figure and the current ASI after discounting to Telco effect.

Notwithstanding, my MoS is flexible for individual equity. I realise I will meet some and miss some.

At N18, the dividend yield after deducting WHT is 14%.

This is more than what you will get in Tbills.

I won't be surprised if smart monies start moving in to lock into the yields.

The truth remains that you can't outbuy the foreigners once they start to buy. We can only be chasing daily tops to see what we fill our orders when they are in.

Like I always say, as we are obsese, gentle dey crawl enter the event hall before slim people start to come. Take your seat and relax. When it is time, the door go close by itself. grin

Now that Zenithbank is @N17 what their current dividend yield ?

Well some of us we start taking position when their dividend yield gets to 30% grin

BARGAIN HUNTERS TAKE NOTE!

Its a free fall.
Every passing day appears to be a better bargain.
And to think the world oil market slump hasn't yet kicked in fully + US/China.
Cash (including interim dividend) is king at the moment.

The worst Zenith will do is to get to N12. There is no much gap from 17 to 20 or 17 to 12. N3 or N5 difference. I do not know how Q2 of Zenith will look like but it will not be a loss that I am very certain.

The market is a true reflection of what our country has become, a MESS. Nothing reasonable makes sense anymore. The RiSk we have here can never attract investors like before, and clearly the next 4 years will follow similar path. Devaluation of the currency is overdue, but thank God for the fixed price, otherwise a dollar should be N500. So ask yourself how long can they sustain it, when we are still dependent on only OiL. A market that we only sell crude and not the refined products.

OIL IS GONE. Naija is Finished.

Watch well and Chop your last loot. Bail from here and invest in other sane countries stock exchange

Try not to mistake this bear to be peculiar to the NSE alone, no matter how tempted you are to.
Every other market in the world will suffer it.
It's global.

Stock exchange is not designed for average Nigeria. why cant you start Cryptocurrencies trading, it easy and quick to understand, u transact by yourself, u dont need to call a broker to sell or buy anything for u.
