Good ke! Ichie azubuike and ozo john ogu are better oooo! Moreover aribo plays in lowly rated Scottish league so he is not needed. We have alot of untested midfielders in madrid, barca and ATM TheSuperNerd: |

really have mixed feelings with Iwobi leaving the gunners. from an arsenal point of view yes we got good money for alex but which replacements do we have? are saka and the brazilian kid can't remember his name now ready to shoulder the responsibility of playing for a top club like arsenal? don't even get me started on mykitarian (can't be bothered if i got his name wrong). as a nigerian too i feel abit sad that no nigerian is playing in any of the top 6 teams in the EPL hopefully that's just temporary. for alex this offers a good opportunity for him to show his worth. everton rates him for them to have paid so much for him he can't hide behind other main players like he would have done at arsenal. iwobi will be looked at as one of the main men to deliver for the toffees. the evertonian fans though are cool and will get behind you once they see you are making effort and working hard. everton has really made an about turn from them david moyes days. team now full of technical players they look very ambitious to break into the top 6. i slightly doubt they will achieve that this year. failure to come 7th and lack of a decent cup run will be an underachievement in my opinion . all the best Alex Iwobi thanks for your time at arsenal now go and soar our Naijaboy 1 Like |

charlesemeka85: I disagree with you. Back to my long standing proposition ; It is better to be a Lion in a lower league and club than an anonymous mouse in a top club and league. There are clubs that have historical and present top class quality in comparison to clubs in much higher leagues. For instance the Eredivisie is rated below the Turkish league. But there is no Turkish club that can stand with Ajax present and past in any shape or form. FC Midtjylland got flogged comprehensively by Rangers a club with European football pedigree. But the league is ranked 5/6 places below the Danish football league. The same Rangers that held Villareal from Laliga over two legs. Aribo was outstanding in league one and us now outstanding in Rangers. We currently don't have anybody tjat has his level of aggression physicality and doggednes in midfield. He is playing first team football. Not academy youth football as a prospect in Barcelona, Madrid that may leave and end up in Finland. |

Nigeria U20 hopeful, Ashinme Kigbu joins Stoke in the championship. Kigbu was due for a place in Aigbogun's world cup squad, but Unfortunately got ruled out by injury. He is a CB by trade. Born in Jos, the highly rated defender came through ManCity Academy before moving to Austria in search of first team football 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: When you are in big club with multiple stars you find out there is less pressure on you. That's both case with Iwobi in Arsenal very little pressure and not too much expectation. But right now all eyes are in him in Everton with huge expectations from Manager and fans. It's like out of the small simmering frying pan and into the FIRE. He has to develop mental resilience he is not with the comfort of family and familiar faces in London. It's a big CHALLENGE but whatever happens he is laughing all the way to the Bank for the next 4/5 years. |

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard reserved special praise for Joe Aribo following Rangers' impressive 4-2 road win against FC Midtjyland in the Europa League third qualifying round on Thursday evening. The Scottish Premiership giants led 3-0 after 56 minutes thanks to goals from Alfredo Morelos, Aribo and Nikola Katic, before Nigerian midfielder Frank Onyeka reduced the deficit in the 58th minute. The former Charlton Athletic star continues to show what he's capable of since his arrival at Ibrox, with his strike against FC Midtjyland his third goal in Rangers colors from five appearances in the Europa League qualifiers. ''I have nothing but praise for my players. This is a difficult opposition who have good players,'' said Gerrard to Rangers TV ''They are very big in profile and you can see their set-piece threat. They have got good players and technicians who can hurt you. ''I thought Jon Flanagan for his first start was immense. The two centre-backs were fantastic again and Joe Aribo again gets an unbelievable goal.'' London-born Aribo is willing to represent the Super Eagles if he is approached by the Nigeria Football Federation. 1 Like |
