forget people wey no sabi watch ball. iwobi is a very creative and intelligent player who is very skillful as well. the only part lacking in his game is consistency and goal scoring. iwobi is a typical barca, man city and arsenal type of player. the bobo s blessed with high football IQ which is rare in african players and the reason why it's difficult to see an african player as a playmaker in any top european club side.

football no be by muscle or power!

There's nothing anyone will say that will make me believe Reiss Nelson, Saka and Martinelli will easily replace this guy.

His goal against Cameroon came to mind.Despite the shot was weak,he perfectly placed it.

Exactly. I even forgot that one.

Most of his chances at arsenal were first time shots from the wing but if he were to play centrally he would have more time to use his wit to make a finish.

The goal against Cameroon wasnt a shot but well placed with good timing and calculation. An olodo would have struck the ball on the keepers body.

He timed it well and watched the keepers positioning before placing the ball.

Alex will explode in Everton. Silva to splash 40m on him means he was well scouted and trusted.

Like silva said about iwobi's abilities, He noted he has been in their radar since the transfer window opened singling out his directness, creativity and dribbles as attributes that appealed to the club.

Alex is among the players who can create something out of nothing which is evident in his stats last season. There is more to a player than goal scoring.

A good example is Ahmed Musa who is more lethal in front of goal than Iwobi but a good and seasoned tactician will choose the latter ahead of the former.

I would like to sometimes see Iwobi play at the striker position for Everton. Silva has used Richarlison in that position before but I actually think Iwobi will do much better because he is so much more bigger and stronger. He could even make the perfect false 9 when you add his skills and mobility.

Iwobi is bigger and more physical than Richarlison hmmm

The 2 players that are likely to surpass Alex as Nigerian most expensive player are ndidi and Chukwueze. Another good mention is lookman if he performs well in Leipzig which I believe he will

really have mixed feelings with Iwobi leaving the gunners. from an arsenal point of view yes we got good money for alex but which replacements do we have? are saka and the brazilian kid can't remember his name now ready to shoulder the responsibility of playing for a top club like arsenal? don't even get me started on mykitarian (can't be bothered if i got his name wrong). as a nigerian too i feel abit sad that no nigerian is playing in any of the top 6 teams in the EPL hopefully that's just temporary.

for alex this offers a good opportunity for him to show his worth. everton rates him for them to have paid so much for him he can't hide behind other main players like he would have done at arsenal. iwobi will be looked at as one of the main men to deliver for the toffees. the evertonian fans though are cool and will get behind you once they see you are making effort and working hard.

everton has really made an about turn from them david moyes days. team now full of technical players they look very ambitious to break into the top 6. i slightly doubt they will achieve that this year. failure to come 7th and lack of a decent cup run will be an underachievement in my opinion .

all the best Alex Iwobi thanks for your time at arsenal now go and soar our Naijaboy

Fikayo Tomori has replaced David Luiz. Abraham is still eligible to play for Nigeria.

Arsenal coach just confirmed Bukola Saka will play games this season. He is still eligible to play for Nigeria.

Sorry league 2, his team was relegated from league one to league two.

Infact his career has been blighted by relegation clubs one after the other.

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on Friday posted an emotional goodbye message to Nigeria forward Alex Iwobi following his move to Everton.

Iwobi was signed on transfer deadline day by the Toffees for £35million on a five- year deal.

The Hale End Academy product was a popular figure in the Gunners dressing room and that was reflected by the message on Instagram by Aubameyang.

"Naija boy why's man doing this," Aubameyang's message to Iwobi read in part.

"I wish you all the best bro. We gonna miss u and ur swegg."

The message is alongside a video and picture of Iwobi and other teammates harmlessly making fun of the player's choice of clothes.

Everton will begin their 2019/2020 season with an away clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday while the Gunners will be guests of Newcastle United on Sunday.

Agreed without thinking twice, even transfrmkt rate chuks higher than iwobi chuks is rated 30m there and iwobi 25m, so chuks will cost nothing like than 45 at least

Chuks was a better player than Pablo fornals of villareal last season and fornals join westham for 30 million euros, so villareal will sell chuks higher ,fornals played 35 league matches scored just 2 goals and 3 assist as an attacking midfielder, while chuks played 26 league matches from the flank scored 5 goals and 2 assists .

I rest my case

Quote from his Aunty, the current deputy governor of Osun state

''It would be my dream to see him play for the Super Eagles someday. We are so proud of him, so also is his parents,'' Titi Laoye-Tomori told saharareporterssport.com.

''He is a true professional and also very humble. He works so hard for his team and no wonder he has won so much at such young age.

''I was with his dad recently and we spoke a lot about his chances of coming to play for Nigeria soon. Right now, he is focusing on his club career and we hope he will come represent his fatherland soon.''

Quote from the horses mouth.

“I thought about playing for England, Canada and Nigeria''
