I suggest you reset or return to factory setting if it continues. Hotness is never an issue with A5 pro. Confidently saying this, no to praise the phone. Other users can testify to this...

I believe this is due to network reception in the area u find urself. I use the A5 pro and in my house and office it doesn't heat up at all. But when am around the surulere/orile axis, it heats up especially while using glo. But with MTN in same locations, it's as cold as ice.
My suggestion check ur network, if it doesn't work, backup and run a factory reset.

Umi need to work on their hear speaker. You can't hear what ppl saying in a noisy area. apart from that Umi product is good for the price.

You're right, at the least I've used mine for one week now, no heating up issue no matter how long or how many apps I use at the same time. The only issue I have after the update is the voice call volume & noise.
