actually I am with the 4gb ram variant, this is my honest review
1. I have not experienced any ads disturbance
2. the camera is nice with or without gcam, it pictures may not appear cripsy on the note 7 screen expecially to gadgets users who have experience brilliant screen offered by Samsungs, iPhones and other fhd AMOLED screen produced by other smart phone companies, but I assure u redmi produce nice and detailed pictures, you can prove my right by using rn7 take pics , send it to AMOLED screen phone and compare the pics on rn7 and the AMOLED screen display, say Samsung Galaxy s 6. this is one reason why some guys concluded that phones like A30 and A20 is preferable to rn7, 1 am not relegating rn7 screen , it should be one of the best lcd display around,yeah , but AMOLED display will always offer more
3. lasting battery life
4. nice build it looks solid ,rigid and presentable
5. no overheating at all even while charging or gaming
6. it charge quickly even with the inbox chager
7. no lag at all even with sophisticated games, to me this is the rn7 selling point don't forget I have the 4gb ram variant ,ram management is excellent. I mean it, no lag at all.
8. it respond speedily even more than some flagships
9. the sound quality is excellent
10. some guys are complaining about rn7 proximity sensor , but it works exccellently on my rn7

11. you can change fonts, change fonts size , use decent gesture that third parties my not understand until you teach them.

rn7 is not an over hyped phone, it has flaws but I can bodly say it far more preferable than some so called high end phone. but redmi should have added AMOLED display to kill it all .

search for notch test app or notch notification for miui you can get it from playstore this is the proper settings below

you can use any prefer settings base on the number of apps that will notify you and how you want your phone to look. you can shitf it up down left or right. any how you want it

you can get up too 6 or 7 fonts without changing region go to the theme app type "font'' in search box 3 different font will come out click more to c others then select the font you like
