Is there a conspiracy to downgrade Okereke in favour of Osimhen?

The type of publicity both got is not the same...

There is first of all EMOTIVE BASED SENTIMENTAL PREFERENCE for some players.

David Okereke for me is not lightweight and smashing the Belguim league like a storm he is not lightweight.

They are two different types of player.

But all the praise goes to Victor overwhelmingly and in that a unconscious or even intended down grade of Okereke.

It's simply not balanced.

There is no conspiracy.

Osimhen is playing in a top 5 league and Okereke plays in Belgium. Plus, osimhen is more widely known among Nigerian fans.

Okereke is building his name too.

The experiment has led to the discovery of Collins, Ebuehi, Osimhen, Onyekuru and Co

Is there anything that you will not complain?

Discoveres ke...when did the national team become a place for discovering players?
They were discovered at club level and invited by Rohr... And aside Collins, how many of the aforementioned players were even given a fair chance in the team? Ebuehi was being benched by Shehu despite the fact that the later's lack of form was glaring!!

And talking about experiment, u use.friendly games not a tournament like the AFCON for experiment...that's why I want more fresh players to be called up for the Ukraine game...
After September and October, we will b back to playing competitive games!

French Ligue 1 side Monaco are on the brink of announcing the signing of Everton-owned winger Henry Onyekuru.

French sports daily L'Equipe is reporting that Onyekuru has inked a five-year contract with the Principality side following a successful medical, which has effectively ended his association with Everton.

The transfer of the former Eupen man will cost Monaco €13.5 million plus bonuses of up to €1.5 million.

Onyekuru has been signed as replacement for Rony Lopes, who is being linked with a switch to Sevilla before the close of the window.

The Nigeria international spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, scoring 16 goals and providing 6 assists in 44 matches.

Lukman Haruna, Rabiu Afolabi and Victor Ikpeba have represented Monaco in the past.

Apart from Ikpeba thier careers did not go as far as expected. Add to your list Echiejile and he played not too long ago about 40 games for them.

It's a note of caution, he has not arrived the HARD WORK to improve starts NOW. He should not get complacent with €€ he is earning.

Sorry to say to you that's just media Rubbish.

The coaches ganged up against Pogba and pushed forward Cleverly to the detriment of Pogba. Pogba can never be like Scholes everybody knew Pogba flamboyant style and outspoken.

In reality Fergie didn't like him personally.

Hmmm maybe but let's remember Ravel Morrison who was better than Pogba at the youth level didn't get games with the first team either. Fergie might have overrated Cleverly but I wouldn't go as far as saying it was all bias/racism.

Look what some people in the know had to say about it:

The Main Reason Why Sir Alex Ferguson Did Not Trust Paul Pogba

Adnan Riaz in FOOTBALL

José Mourinho smashed Manchester United's club-record transfer in 2016 to bring Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford.

While there have been moments where the 25-year-old United ace has been criticised for his performances, his current form under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær will be enough proof for some fans that he is one of the best midfielders in the world.

Even when he was at the United youth academy, there were many that saw the potential of Pogba.

However, Sir Alex Ferguson allowed him to leave the club for Juventus in 2012 after he turned down a contract.

Okay, some fans would be quick to lambast the legendary United manager for letting him leave and then the Red Devils paying as much money as they did to re-sign him, but it seems like he had his reservations about the World Cup-winning Frenchman.

According to the i newspaper, United 'insiders' revealed that the 77-year-old Scotsman believed that Pogba wasn't mature enough.

Interestingly, the claims are backed up from a number of different viewpoints.

Former United player Darren Fletcher echoed similar sentiments about the former Juventus star when he spent some time coaching the Red Devils reserves.

"I did a spell coaching with the [Manchester United] reserve team, which included Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Ravel Morrison -- a lot of talented players," he told Sky Sports' Monday Night Football in 2018.

"We played [Pogba] a lot higher up the pitch in attacking areas and we felt like he was the one that could go and win us games really.

"A combination of the fact that we felt he had a little bit of ill-discipline in the middle of the park as more of a central midfielder."

In fact, historian Tony Park made an observation that suggested Pogba was fairly inconsistent for the youth team.

"Pogba would have one great game, one average game and one anonymous game," he explained.

"It was why Fergie didn't trust him. When he arrived there were 10 to 15 new players around the scene at the time, all with bigger reputations.

"Ravel Morrison was by far the standout and coaches were giving him lots of attention. Pogba's ability was not in doubt, it was his inconsistency, that's been an issue all his career."

Well, the rest is now history.

Pogba once again rewarded Solskjær's faith in him against Fulham, opening the scoring with a brilliant strike in the first half.

He followed up his performance in the second half after he scored from the spot kick and United secured a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage.

Where will United finish in the Premier League this season?

Let us know in the comments.

We have people already comparing the clearly light weight Osimhen to the strong Imposing and dominating DROGBA that's being delusional.

KC scored a few goals in pre season and some one being Superdelusuional announced KC us back to form that's simply ludicrous.

I know we are fans and therefore fanatical but must we put our brains into the bin.

Oga there is nothing wrong with osimhen being a light weight according to you

Is abraham not light weight?

Nobody will compare osimhen to drogba, they are trying to say they are similar, its no harm being similar to a legend like drogba.

Can you mention any better left back that was ignored prior to Collins debut?

Do you know there is a cold war between nff technical committee and Rohr just because the German refused players being forced on him especially those from the local league?

Make una no dey make unnecessary accusation abeg
komekn:

I don't think they were discovered as such by Rohr.

Osimhen was already given preferential treatment on past youthful glories. Onyekuru was invited but not given opportunity when he was tearing think up.

Collins was in Bundesliga 2 and average but invited.

Ebuehi was the only one that l think was actually given opportunity.

In reality there is s lot of background movements with NFF officials and agents pushing thier individual players forward.

Anybody who thinks that Rohr has total control and it's all about his soke decision then your in Delusion.

You are being far from factual and truthful.

The fanatical favoritism for Osimhen started before he had played a single game for Wolfsburg.

He had a good if not exceptional season after failing vat Wolfsburg he has done well. But he has just started in the French league.

I can assure looking at type of player Okereke is if he continues scoring goals regularly like this he will be in the EPL in January. Mark my words

Oshimeh's heroics at the U17 world cup paved way for him to the super eagles even when he was still struggling in Germany. He was brought in to learn from nacho, ighalo and co which will aid his integration in the team gradually.

Iheanacho was one of Rohr's Favourite when he came in and if he was biased he would have insisted on taking Iheanacho to Afcon at the expense of oshimeh with the excuse that the latter is inexperienced and very young for a tournament as huge as the afcon.

Rohr's selection since he took charge of the team have been fair and he doesn't hesitate to given any players who performs well in any of the top leagues in Europe a chance.

Let's give honor to it is due abeg. Nothing wey dey do we Nigerians wey go make us happy. The same oshimeh is showing alot of promise now which is testament that Rohr saw potentials in him at his first glance which made him believe in the kid

I don't usually use the word "hate" when discussing football matter but this your continual downgrade of Osimhen is getting out of hand!! .. Osimhen just left the Belgian league where he performed exceptionally well..he was exceptional at the u-17 world cup too so it was normal that his move to Wolfsburg should be celebrated! ..I mean for God's sake he is a Nigerian! a product of our youth team! what else were we supposed to do other than support him??

it is hypocritical for u to keep using his Wolfsburg days to judge him when some of ur favorite boys like Iorfa,Ojo,Onyedima,Solanke, etc had bad times at different clubs too but u tag them "exceptional”!
I can bet my testicles that u didn't know who Okereke was until he moved to Belgium . there's no guarantee yet that he will surpass Osimhen's record in Belgium..heck! he isn't the first Nigerian to hit it right in Belgium!
Osimhen has upgraded from Belgium to France so its totally normal for him to be rated ahead of Okereke... and like I said earlier,he is well known among Nigerian fans! he has been in the scene for long...Okereke just entered recently...

Give the boy the credit he deserves!!
