For the Guys

Most of the Yorubas do odd jobs that pay very well if converted to naira.(Cleaning, care, security...) while some do high end white collar jobs too.

Most Igbos do runs (If you know you know) and only few do regular odd jobs.

I hardly come across hausas.

For the ladies

For the Yorubas most do hair dressers, care , cleaning and a number of them in the nursing profession and some use what they have to get what they want.

For the Igbos same as above.

I hardly come across Hausa girls.. seems Hausa people hardly travel to hustle.

And judging by the desperation of the youth about getting out of this country I think they have the believe that once they leave this country the odds are in their favour. I really want to know what they do

Some go to school to get a good job and a good life,
While others constitute nuisance and go into a life of fraud.

It depends on the individual.

We wonder how some people will have such good opportunity and be comfortable doing crime.

All you have to do is look at how many of them are in foreign jails and how many are being deported daily,then the answer to your question is as clear as day

It really depends. I can only speak for the US...you will find a lot of Nigerians in different fields of endeavor such as in Law, Medicine, Engineering, Academia, Civil Service-both Federal, State & City, Health Care, IT, Cab Driving, Entrepreneurs, etc. Infact, if you can think of any segment of the labor market in the US, you MUST find a Nigerian in that arena [Nigerians are ubiquitous in the American labor market]. Contrary to the overused stereotype bandied by ignorant people back that all Nigerians based abroad do is menial jobs, IT'S NOT ALL NIGERIANS THAT ENGAGE IN MENIAL JOBS ABROAD. At least I can speak for the Nigerian demography here in the USA where I stay... we have LOTS of Nigerian doctors, pharmacists, Lawyers, Engineers etc doing very well in their respective professions here. While it is true that some Nigerians especially when they first come abroad engage in menial jobs to survive(and trust me the concept of dignity in labor is respected in developed countries like the USA, Canada, and some parts of Europe)where there's absolutely no shame in doing menial jobs. Most doctors in Nigeria don't even gross half the yearly income of a Cab driver in the USA!

In saner climes you'll see people wait for those with experience to come and give drop their input but no, every idiot here has to use this opportunity to exhibit his/her stupidity.
