Don't worry brother, I believe it is because of your far enrolment deadline of September 15the compared to June when you did your interview, I have noticed this as a pattern that causes delay from previous posts. You will soon receive your AM

Secondly concerning this your course, if you don't know BASICS in programming (object oriented programming like C or preferably Python) just run to udemy now and start learning while waiting for your AM. My friend is in that school, he told me you are not allowed to take the courses and enter certain labs without the programming skills that some students where withdrawn because of it last session .

thanks for the encouragement and info bro, i have learned python but because of lack of practice, I'm sore but I'm trying to update my knowledge, thank you again

I would like to ask a few questions and I would appreciate if I can get answers

1. Which cheap hotel can I stay close to the embassy and how much is it?

2. Can I get AM from Hamburg before funding?

3. is BA important to get AM

4. How can I fund without having a dom account?

5. How long after the interview is late for funding?

Thank you.

For people close to 30, 30 and above, you're advised to subscribe to private insurance because public insurance becomes much more expensive for people in this age group it shoots up. Now when you subscribe to mawista either through fintiba or directly, you also get a certificate and payment starts In Germany.

The only advantage private insurance has over public is the charges, that's all. In other comparisons, public insurance trumps.

Alles klar?
Ask more questions for clarity.

welldone for this......Pls for people above 30 is Mawista the best option? if not which can you recommend?

Thank you.

1. bayland suites - obalende (8-10k) & sappers lodge - inside bonny cantonment (5-8k)

2. AM - Approval Mail. this is issued by the embassy not your school. the school only sends you Admission letter (AL).

3. you may get an approval email from the embassy without funding, but the visa will not be in your passport EXCEPT you have sent proof of the BA(Blocked Account) via email to the embassy or your sponsorship letter (SL) is verified & approved.

4.it is best you open a Dom account or find someone trusted to transfer the funds for you. that is how the banking system works. naira equivalents are not transferred only euros. the reason why it is advised you are the owner of the Dom account is that, if funds are to be refunded should your visa be denied, it will only be sent to the originating account. you can register online and FUND the account AFTER your interview, it probably takes 48-72hrs to reflect. then you send your transfer confirmation to the email provided by the embassy.

5. easy question: how bad do you want to leave for DE? ASAP right? then fund as soon as possible. if you delay and the embassy calculates that their administrative processes to get your visa will conclude AFTER your enrollment date at the university, you will be denied. the gurus may weigh in on the question too.

best of luck & Godspeed.

I sent u e-mail pls reply.. The reason I wasn't bothered abut not able to make it this semester is that I have to revise my Engineering maths( I did very little Engineering maths in School cus my First degree isn't in Engineering but ICT) and learn Programming languages like Python and C++ before resuming to avoid stress when lectures commence.

Hello house please help me out on this.

I need to fund my BA via Fintiba.

I tried to deposit the funds into my GTB Euro domiciliary account but I was told that I cannot deposit more than 1000 Euro per week into my Dom account and I need to transfer 8924 Euro to my fintiba plus BA.

Please I need suggestions on better alternatives.

Hello everyone,

Please I need clarification on something,

I have studied most of the pages here and also researched on some other platforms and I read that, available dates for Visa Interviews sometimes show up in the midnight as a result f people that canceled their appointment. Hence, it becomes a case of fastest fingers for people to book. Sometimes, one is able to get a favourable date. Please can somebody help with the particular page I could log into on the German website or how exactly I can do this. I really need this AD as so many things depends on it so much. Someone please help me and don't ignore. I'm also new to this and have been reading from her. Thanks and God bless.

Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Slip(m): 12:28am On Aug 15, 2019
Hello Sir,

Welcome, but i must say you have not been reading, because if you have you would know where to book for appointment. Please find link below.

https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-en/service/visa/student-research-and-language-course-visa/1015536

Note that there's no magic anywhere it is per head. Some booked at the hour between 1:00 - 1:15am and they got AD before 24hrs while some after a month plus. Also note that those that got AD in 24hrs used early or mid December as start date, so ur start date plays a vital role here. Even if u book at 12:00am and put September 1st u won't get a date...

Let nobody say he has read before asking questions. We will know if u had read through the thread from ur question.

Cheers...

I share in the opinion of others here. Since the alien office has processed your application and finalised it, then you're waiting for the embassy. They probably looked at your enrolment deadline and decided to wait a bit for the date to be closer.
Be on the lookout sha, either this week or next week, you'll testify your AM here.

Getting health insurance is not the issue so to speak, as a good number of its task can be done online, but you need to understand what you are paying for, what level of coverage and for how much. Just like Albert Einstein said any fool can know, the point is to understand. Please be mindful of signing contracts, Germans take it very serious and walking out of it most times no be beans.

Hello. Congrats. Have you received your AM Mail? I'm almost done with this same program (EnviTox) at Uni Essen. It's not an easy program, so please start brushing up your Chemistry and Geography. It would help you integrate easily. You may contact me if you need more information. The most important information I have for you right now is to apply to studentenwerk for accommodation because getting accommodation here is really difficult.

Transcript alert Fam!
Date: 6th August
International man set 5 alarms to wake him up from 4am upwards but ended up waking those alarms. Twasnt a joke o. Jumped up from bed around 3:15am and started praising God with good dance steps. I've got enough reasons to do more than dancing starting from how I got to know much about studying in DE to getting an Ad und AL respectively. So I decided to do some fine rehearsals of the interview. The more I practiced, the more I discovered I needed to practice more. All of a sudden, I just heard the horn of my offline Uber driver with a call from him downstairs. Rushed to the bathroom and dressed up. So, left surulere at exactly 4:47am and got to the consulate at 5:06am. The mopol asked me to come back 30mins to my appointment time. So I waited for a while at the park but was scammed by the dudes in the maami market. I kept my phones with them for a whole 1k. Chai!
Fast forward to Oga Paulinus.....
So myself and a guy Albert left for the consulate at 6:27am but was shocked by the number of people that I met on ground. I joined the queue anyways on the 10th position.. I saw a slender man busy driving people away, I knew this is Paulinus. I just jejely behaved myself before my village people will make me sneeze and Paulinus will be like, "Young man, why are you sneezing? Oya leave this place!"..
He first attended to two guys from Ghana and sorted their documents for them from A - Z and I was like could this be the same Paulinus on every page on the German thread on NL? I behaved myself the more so that he will not hear what I'm thinking. Not so long, he called the first 9 or so to the next line and asked them to sit. So I was the number one in the stream 2. He started calling how the documents should be arranged and expected everyone that came for student Visa to follow suit but more focus was on the first 9.. He asked a guy to leave the queue and hang on the exit lane when he noticed the guy booked with the wrong category though he later allowed him in. Please and please, as it has been advised severally that you use paper clips to hold your documents, it is for your own destiny o! Two dudes were sent back as it wasn't easy for them to move at Paulinus' pace. Now it was my set, he just called me to come forward with my documents, chai! Overconfidence will not kill me my people. That was how my village people flashed and Paulinus was like, Mr Man, Calm down and relax. I smiled and replied, Yes sir!
Paulinus: Young man, you see this job ehn, I have been doing it for a long time and I have met so many people, I can decide to send you back. Did you see the lady I sent back?
Me: I kept smiling but in my mind brethren, I was like finally! So I just calmed myself.
The arrangement is still the same with what we have been seeing everyday but it's better you just keep your passport photographs in your pocket and clip your forms. Please, don't forget to go with your appointment letter and old biographical document as these are not in my own checklist but I went with them.
Do not staple as Paulinus will do all of that.
--- Fast forward to the VO section.
Was the 6th person to be interviewed and the woman in gold tinted hair in the cubicle 4 interviewed me.
I entered around 8:20.
Me: Good morning MA.
VO: Good morning. Can I have your documents.
Me: {passed the documents to her}
VO: what did you study in your Undergraduate and what grade?
Me: Biochemistry and second class upper division
VO: what's the difference between Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Me: {I remembered someone was asked this same question by this same woman last week and the person hinted us here on NL. While I was busy putting up my response in my mind, some kids in the waiting room that came with their parents for schengen visa were busy disturbing and the VO asked me to jam the door so their noise won't distract us. Before I faced back, she got distracted and slammed on my cheeks with a new question}.
VO: so what was your undergraduate project topic.
Me: I said it and also wrote it on a piece of paper she passed to me. While I was writing it, she asked me to say it out so she can type it. I spelt the parts she needed me to spell. {All through these questions, I was straining my ears to hear her and I was busy saying ehnn ehnn pardon pardon ehn ehn pardon and I was almost entering the glass so I can hear her. I just remembered people here talked about VOs telling them to pick up the phone for the interview. I just asked her with pure humility and total submission to God, "MA, can I use the phone". She said yes you can..
VO: what were your findings
Me: {I shine small for here my people}.
VO: how did you get the oil from the yolk
Me: I extracted it using the solvent n-hexane. {VO shook head and I also shook mine gently}
VO: which course are you going for
Me: Environmental Toxicology
VO: why this course.
Me: this course will avail me with the requisite knowledge I need to design pollution abatement schemes. {She looked at me and asked asked me to spell pollution abatement schemes while she typed it.}
VO: so what is a pollution abatement scheme.
Me: these are measures or policies put in place to reduce, control or remove pollutants from our environment.
VO: so what do you plan to do after the course.
Me: I would love to apply the knowledge acquired at the Environmental Technology department of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi Lagos! {My people, my people}
VO: So tell me what you know about Germany:
Me: Germany is a country located in the central and Western Europe with Berlin being the capital and also a state - City as it has only a city. Hamburg also falls in this category as the capital of Hamburg is Hamburg. Germany has 16 states which are referred to as Bundeslanders {the way I called Bundeslanders ehn)
VO: It is not Bundeslanders, it's Bundeland (in pronunciation)
Me: I reechoed it and thanked her with a smile.
VO: go ahead
Me: The longest River is river Rhine and the most populous state is North-Rhine Westaphalia which happens to be the state the prestigious university of Duisburg Essen is domiciled (At this point ehn, my head was swelling)
VO: And which campus are you heading to?
Me: Campus Essen
VO: what's the capital of the state
Me: Duseldorf.
VO: Who's the BundesPraisident
Me: I first said rubbish here my people! I now came back to my senses that I'm in the embassy and not rehearsing. The look on her face was like, "Bros, are you okay?" I quickly repackaged and said Frank-Walter Steinmeier
VO: {gave me two forms to sign} That's the end of the interview.
Me: can I ask a question MA.
VO: Go ahead please.
Me: When is the latest I can forward my SL to the consulate.
VO: as soon as you get it.
Me: Okay MA. Thank you. Have a nice day. I opened the door gently and closed it gently.

There's no way you will be on this page that you won't have confidence since you have an idea of the questions you will be asked.
Everyone here that has answered questions and posted transcript, I say thank you and God will reward you.
For everyone awaiting ADs, it will come and for everyone confused and losing hope gradually, remember You must not give up and you must fire on. What you need will come. Just pray and trust God.
Special thanks to Deutschmann.
I love you all and see you all in DE.
Shalom!

I was interviewed by the gold haired lady on lowcut
VO: Who propounded the law of gravity
(Oh well, I had forgotten who did, told her I had no idea)

V..O: What university did you attend ?
V.O: What course?
V.O: Mention courses you took in your final semester
(I mentioned 5 courses)
V.O: What is Engineering Law about?
V.O: What about hydraulics and pneumatics, Neuro Fuzzy Logic
V.O: Have you funded?
V.O: Ensure you bring your confirmation as soon as possible.
V.O: Why this course?
V.O: Why Germany and not other English speaking countries?
V.O: What was your final year thesis about?
(She asked me to write the topic on a paper)
V.O: What other countries speak German?
(I mentioned Belgium)

( I mentioned Austria, Switzerland, she nodded)
V.O: Tell me about Germany
(I mentioned 3 points, she said it was okay)

She barely allowed me finish my sentences. She needed only points and not stories.

Also, I won’t even advise anyone to stay at that Sappers lodge. If you want to, please buy enough bottle / pure water.
