STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 15 AUGUST 2019 Allshare Index has lost 13.83% in 2019? We need to reduce our equity holdings, going for companies that deal in essential services/products is one of the strategies for surviving a bear market environment. If you have the last 5k in your pocket, what service/product can take some of the money from your Pocket despite the fact that you may not wish to spend the money? Food, Communication, Transportation, Drugs, Real Estate. I will go further by saying is there any company that is quoted on the exchange that is providing these services, with little competition and still has some growth potential in this difficult operating environment. Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). The way banking stocks give is the way they collect it back. They give their best during bull run. Diversification is key. |

We as a people don't want to hear the truth... PMB is a mistake and if we keep quiet...it will repeat itself and even worst in 2023! Nigeria I know has never gotten better since childhood! After 4years the damage down to the economy would be irreversible! GTB Nigeria's biggest bank is chasing people up and down to take loan at lowest cost...yet people are scared because the economy direction is not clear. And you think all is well! Even the rate at which GTB is given out loans is killing fintech loan start ups! 1 Like |

stcool:Dear bros, sorry I have to quote you, the thing is that many knew the truth but sadly we dont ACT it. A lot goes into the problem on ground, PMB is just another phase of its continuation and not necessarily the cause. You know very well more than this, lets not be addressing the issue on the surface! Make I stop there, I no get strength to argue. 3 Likes 1 Share |

stcool: Bro..just make the best of any situation you find yourself in. Na so democracy be, no need to break head. As far as i can remember, no existing government has received any kudos during its tenure, be it Military or Civilian so truly the government to be formed in 2023 will not be different. By then we will be looking at Buari's tenure with near nostalgia. Even by that time, people go still dey make money. 5 Likes |

NSEMPA, Recession is very REAL, If your life savings is locked in stock market quickly get out and lock money in dollar denominated instruments. 1. Australia stock markets lost $60bn 2. CNN has reported that USA may enter recession again 3. Germany Economy GDP shrank in the Q2 4. UK economy GDP also shrank in the Q2 Here in Nigeria, crude oil price has fallen below $60 and foreign investors may reduce their appetite for Nigerian Bonds, also China may likely reduce their lending to Nigeria. 1 Like 1 Share |

Bizibi:https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/Oil-Companies-Scared-To-Get-Caught-Between-US-And-Venezuela.html Mr Trump want to collapse the world economy, Trade war, will soon graduate to world crisis, an organization in which the head sanction half of its member seems to be creating another similar organization, because those sanction will come together to form one formidable force. American is world super power does not mean that they will remain super power for ever, many countries has tested it before them, country like Italy, and Great Britain. One thing lead to other before those country loses their position. The moment focus shifted from dollar to any other currency, US power will be weakened. ASI has falling to 26,000 +, and Brent has falling back again to 58+, these are sign that they worse might still happen. 1 Like

Please, what does SUB-BROKERAGE FIRM means as regards their activity limits and business involvement in NSE. For a previously active firm to be reduced to a sub-brokerage firm connote something unhealthy. I really seek enlightenment. |
