Hey hey no need to be nasty grin

I think we all remember that helicopter contraption we saw at one of the Nigerian army open days a couple of years ago!!
Seriously man,are you comparing a helicopter prototype with that pre-teen art and craft project up there?.

Come on man, we don't want to go down that lane. Some of us have long memories indeed, long enough to remember the SANDF's fascinating maneovers against seleka thugs,and such other... incidents grin

Why don't we instead focus on burying those misguided videos of certain soldiers marching like mummies straight out of the crypts of Tutankhamen? grin Let us all just calm down and not allow these strange occurrences tear us apart cheesy

Ah, you see, we must avoid an impasse. The waters you are testing is very delicate indeed.

Who is bashing Ghana?, certainly not me. The Ghanaians are our sisters, and we share a deep bond. We are merely deeply concerned about the untold trauma Kantanka is putting them through every year with those vulgar display of metal coffins cheesy cheesy

Care to tell us what it was then?

You see, to build an actual helicopter that doesn't fall out of the sky like Satan or leak grease all over the place, you need to go through various stages of development; from design, to concept development, to sourcing parts etc. Some of us are more interested in building an aircraft that governments can buy without cringing everytime it's airborne wink wink .There is no need to rush such processes, afterall, those who rushed to build theirs later had to use it for decoration in a military museum. grin

I've praised the great strides the Nigerian defense industry has made in such a short time!!! And as I've stated I'm truly impressed!!!

BUT!! in the sake of objectivity.......The bottom is not even close to a proof of concept or prototype!

Should me that kantanka own that has rocket pods been placed on the tail facing directly at the fuselage...This is just to display basically the engine due to the fact that it has undergone testing and at least it works and it's initial testing was a five minutes flight....What u describe as non POC or prototype fly like this for 5minutes unlike that kantanka wheelbarrow grin grin I like y'all attempt Sha grin

I never made anything an SA vs Nigerian thing!!! One bro simply states that his country will not by a ship(BTW his original comment did not trash that ship) and all of a sudden people(Funny enough it was YOU) start posting pictures of jetpacks and vehicles built by a priest to bash the bloke........All I tried to state was not to through stones if you live in a glass house!

Dude the tail rotor doesn't even have gears........The fact is the helicopter in the pic is a mock-up.....Not even a full scale mock-up considering that the seat is almost the same height as the roof undecided

@Evarn and @Toju200

Ok so the good thing is after researching this project,the fact is this helicopter was never designed,built or tested by the Nigerian defence force or any reputable Nigerian defence company........Which is a good thing(well because it looks like its made out of scrap metal).

It was built by a young boy (probably from scrap wink for the Nigerian army as it states he was a massive patriot and fan of the army!!

IT STILL AINT FLYING THOUGH!!
