waynee2baba: Hello Waynee2baba, The bolded isn't his stated point. You should want to know that most of the applications still waiting for a decision may have been already processed, but waiting to be finalized either because it was sent for a secondary review, pushed aside, or waiting on requested supporting documents (which they rarely do these days except the applicant is lucky enough to request for the gcms notes on time to suddenly dicover it). The gckey account was supose to be a real-time update, but not really accurate of recent. In the quoted "likely," I can agree with you on that, which means any application still waiting on a decision or any application submitted late might be rejected because he used a word that states there's a "probability." Stay blessed! 3 Likes |

Hello House, Please what will you advise? I submitted an online application on the 8th of July, 2019 for Sept 4th entry into a PhD program. I submitted an upfront medical result and since then both eligibility and background has been running concurrently. I contacted my sch few weeks ago to defer my admission to January which they acknowledged and issued new entry date to me with funding intact. What do you suggest I do; 1. Should I wait till 8 weeks or Sept 4th and upload the new admission letter. 2. Can I send the new offer letter now? 3. Should I wait for decision before sharing the new offer letter if decision is negative. Please help. |

obaxlove: What I would do is to update CIC with the new development as soon as possible. |

naijalodge: It doesn't adversely affect your application. Go on with your plans and hope for the best! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Frankrobbn1: 1:45pm On Aug 21, 2019 |
obaxlove: If you refuse not to send the acceptance letter to them. During the active processing of your application, IRCC will notify you via your MyCIC account to provide the offer letter for the winter term 2020 in view of the fact that you can't be able to meet up with the fall session prior to your visa issuance. Therefore, sending the letter across to them at this point in your application still doesn't hurt as the information will be updated/appended on your application. So, any of the two is good and acceptable; 1 Like |

obaxlove:Wait till you get your approval or till mid September (I hope you get your approval before then) because most offer letter expires a week or two after resumption. CIC will only ask for an updated offer letter if your approval comes long after your September 4th resumption (from October upward). For now just relax and pray for approval. Good luck 1 Like |

[quote author=Frankrobbn1 post=81398152] I am sorry but I doubt if your claims are right that none of the above listed schools offer an IT related program at a post graduate level. I know too well that these institutions are the popular colleges in Canada.Makano and co. can attest to this fact!. For this reason I would like to know the source of your information @JummyFash[/quote |

[quote author=makano....haaa .....sorry o, I searched then o but all the ICT available at that moment was Diploma & advance...in fact, you can confirm from@Richasey cos he helped me to check Fanshawe then too when I told him all what I’m seeing is Diploma...And he confirmed it. He Was even tired of searching.. I was surprised now o when I checked those schools had checked earlier before now to see what I didn’t see then... I’m sorry in anyway had given false info. But I’m still seeing Humber ICT in Diploma & Advance, have not seen their post-degree in ICT. |

If you are doing this for immigration purpose, I would suggest you try Express Entry route while you are processing your pHd admission/visa since you already have a masters and having atleast 3years work experience makes you more qualified but if otherwise, you can discard my opinion. Do not put your eggs in one basket! fishjam: |

My application for study permit was denied and the points raised were; I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. My dad is my sponsor and I provided assets and bank statements. I am 25, admission is or a PDG in centennial college. I plan on reapplying soon.
