Na so i carry myself go my private hospital however somedays back i went to general hospital and the messured baby to be 3.0kg but to my greatest shock today the private clinic doctor said baby is 4.4kg... na so i enter ghost mode plus angry mood altogether. On top the delay infact after much sermon by doc. We decide he carrys out the membrane sweep.

As a ftm, i was shying shy for another bobo to choke choke hand inside for hubby present. Kia, i was not just comfortable at all...the doc kept saying, madam relax n open your legs very well... i felt i have just cheated on my darling darling embarassed

Encouraged us to stimulate the nipples plus sperm would also help. Meanwhile i have been running away from him for long now.
Tonight eh...

Truly no two pregnancies are the same. My first, I wasn't even eating much and I was fine. But since this one started, I've been eating like a glutton. Can't count how many times in a day I eat. I have to eat if not terrible nausea sets in. It was not like this before o
At this rate, I can see 150kg romancing me

That said, lemme jus report myself here. So, Giddyperson and Nimi22 jazz finally caught me.

I just went to the nearest hospital to run the blood test. The poor state of the road to my HMO hospital in the next town has been discouraging and there is no reliable hospital in this my semi urban town.

My MIL prescribed bitter kola and I didn't really have much pains last night after chewing one. Mommdav, the stomach tightening is like severe cramps.

To convince the doc to give me progesterone, should I do a progesterone hormonal test to check, is that possible?

If the pain is severe not good at all. Start progesterone immediately. The progesterone should calm your uterus and stop it from contracting. Give yourself some bed rest for at least two days. Let hubby help around the house.

Bitter kola. You took a full kola? I thought you just leave in your mouth and not to chew it. More so chewing a full one in a night is rather too much. One bitter kola has whopping 200mg of caffeine! As a pregnant mama, especially at early stage of pregnancy you should take less than 200mg caffeine. This why most pregnant women stay away from coffee. Bitter kola can cause miscarriage. Please play safe and stay away from it. Just leaving it in your mouth is better than eating a full one at once or over a short time a day.

Drink plenty of water. Another thing that relief cramps is water. Anytime you feel cramps just drink water. Dehydration can sometimes cause contraction in early pregnancy. Do not stress. Just try and relax. Strict bed rest for at least 2 days. You can give your doctor a call if you can. Ask him if you can take 1ml of 250mg Primolut depot once or twice weekly to help support your progesterone level.

I did a second one today, honestly i didnt feel anything today while it was carried out maybe because a female doc handled it today...was much much more comfortable.

Naso, we decided to run another scan at a different place especially to ascertain babys weight against the 4.5kg the private clinic declared.
The new scan place looks tech, with a well experienced doc who is equally an hod at a general hospital.
Long story short, he said baby is long due, around 41 weeks however i got another shock from him that baby weights 5.1kg, instantly i started hearing a tiny voice saying "elective CS elective CS"
Any other thing he was saying afterwards was rubbish... he told us to quickly go to the general hospital n inform them that we are over due, its either we are induced while they monitor the process and switch to cs or we opt for CS directly.

Naso we waka go pack my bags, reach hospital and they turn my matter to senate seating including interns after the long debate/arguement they decided to cast a vote grin

Thanks a lot mama, would do as you advise. I don't feel the pains in the day time, I only feel at night.

Lastly, membrane sweep was conducted again, also ran a scan and result showed baby to be weighing 3.58kg
Mamas na so i tire for Mathaias, was just speechless as well dumbfounded

We jejely carry our luguages back to the house
Meanwhile i discoverd a lil show severally after urinating, don't know if the sweep has started taking effect plus i noticed my tummy got tighter/stronger.
Please me na FTM
Tomorrow is my 40th week
Scan saying 41st week
Had 2 edd 15th n 22nd
Make una choke mouth abeg

First of all teamie I think you need to calm down,don't rush things too much nature will definitely take its place God gave us the little one's we are carrying at the appointed time we would meet our lo's
First of all passing due date is not a new thing most especially for a first time mum from 41/42week is when induction might be initiated pray labor come before then and if its induction fine but then why not do long walk? Exercise etc eat more pineapple and date try anything you can that help induce labour naturally including drinking ewedu raw
Also have you started dilating or cervix closed?
Also cool off too much anxiety can obstruct labor too
After seeing my doctor with detailed explanation I had to do a long work that last like 3hrs if not more and my contractions have increased but I will still have to continue my other room activities along side using the stairs
Thou I was told not to over do anything that maximum they augment the contraction to be stronger if no strong contractions show up but I'm very positive it won't take long so please don't stress yourself out when baby is flexing in the womb we would carry our rainbow baby soon cheers grin

Crying ke? Your badge of honour? Please rock it. Keep rubbing whatever natural oil you use (I prefer coconut), this should reduce the spread but there's not much you can do about it. Use the oil lavishly morning and night

Mothers pls who knows or has experienced this pls help me.

I did scan and it says mild hydropolyamnios. Ie increased amniotic fluid. What I googled is giving my heart attack. Pls Oct mothers say something.

Nurse Kaffy and others help me. Am in ny 8minth
