you have a point though.. if law in UI is anything to go by it's actually for 5 years. then law school, then nysc (whichever comes first based on placement- that's another 2 years cumulatively). in all we're still talking 7 years (no strikes, no carryovers). average age of entering university is 17 years. 24 years is therefore the least age a freshly called to the bar lawyer can be. Any age brandied around that's younger than that is suspect IMO.

All those calculation are for those that went to federal institutions because of the competitiveness for any spot . More than half of most student in a department has written jamb more than once(check the statistic to confirm). Apart from that, the strike can also disrupt ones ambition of graduating early. They are so many factor like lecturer attitude to failing student , following jamb rule in admitting student not less than 16 years. But state and private institutions that are money conscious hardly allow those factor in affecting their admission process. I have a cousin in Madonna university not up to 20 years but in her final year studying medicine and surgery course of six years + 1 year housemanship. After her graduation her father will take her to Canada for further studies. All this kind people by 25 they don gather like 3-4 years experience. You will be their wondering how come. Your president daughter is among the board of director in Nnpc. Something that takes nothing less than 25 years to achieve.Babe live calculation ,Nigerian is all about money and connection.

Don't mind them. There was even a class mate of mine who was 8yrs old when we newly came into the school and graduated with us at 14yrs old while I was 15yrs old at the time of our graduation. She got admission into OAU after her predegree program. Got mine after sitting two years. It wasn't like I didn't have good Jamb scores but I was chasing a high competitive course study at a nepotistic university (unilorin)
