Good day wonderful mothers.pls mothers is it safe to travel a 24hrs at 34 weeks pregnancy? Like the trii is 24hrs journey with just an 1 stop over...to me I don’t think it’s safe but want others opinion kindly help me out |

Surulady: Confirm from the dr and airline. I think for high risk pregnancy and multiples it is recommended to travel around 30 weeks or earlier. 34 weeks is the maximum by most airlines. But if your bump is way too big they disregard your dr's fit to fly. I was also told by a colleague that some airlines measure the bump size to ensure one fit the seat area with some allowance. When in the aircraft, be sure to stay hydrated and use compression socks to prevent excessive feet swelling and inproved blood circulation. Choose a seat by the aisle so u can take walks from time to time. |
