IF PdP present North:East candidate
And Apc present West:North candidate

I guess, PdP will win, because of south south factor and it will make the ignos turn out to vote.

However, if PdP presents East:North candidate, it's likely they lose.
North would not want to be a V. P under East.

IMHO any party that presnts a SE presidential candidate will lose 100%, any party that presents a SE VP is reducing it's chances of winning. The north has not forgotten what happened when Jonathan was VP and how he failed to honour the agreement when he became president.
SE is toxic and a liability right now politically

My brother you are very correct! Some Yorubas are getting conscious of the view of the Ibos about them. We will not meet as super parallel lines even in heaven. Let everybody maintains his lane.

Truth is, it's only in politics that we don't really get along...

Aside politics, the two regions don't have any brawls...

Good, if power must to be returned to South.
Both parties should present South candidates...

Then any region as Vice...
simple as abc. Apc will present yoruba. Their die hard/do or die for party should present one ibo jew buh thay are scared. They will rather sell it to their northern master because they know they've got nothing on yoruba.

sad sad

There is no disagreement anywhere

APc will field Tinubu and El rufai... A Muslim Muslim ticket...

PDP like we all know has already zoned their presidency to the north ...

Maybe a Tambuwal wike... Kwankwaso who knows

When I read comments like this, it just weakens my bones. Nigeria has the likes of Prof Moghalu, Akin Adesina, prof Osinbajo, NOI, Peter Obi etc. But whenever elections are discussed, the only feasible names that keep popping up are Atiku, Kwankwaso, Tambuwal, Wike, Tinubu, El Rufai etc. Kaiii... Nigeria is just doomed for failure.

The SE is irrelevant politically. their votes are of no consequence because their votes do not determine the outcomes of national elctions. The only way to win an election is to split the northen vote and split the yoruba vote, that was Atiku's mistake. He chose a SE VP to win over the Se who were always going to vote for him anyway. If he had chosen a SW Vp he would have gotten more votes.

The SE votes are politically irrelevant because they will always vote for PDP, whether or not there is a SE person on the ticket and secondly they are the smallest voting block in terms of numbers.

I have not forgotten yet, when President Yar'adua became seriously sick, the only people praying for his survival were mainly the northerners and westerners while southeast and south-south were protesting for him to hand over to his vice, Jonathan.

When he was flown outside the country for immediate medical assistance, igbos and Niger deltans were the people propagating false news about his death, we believed he died long ago and that the Northerners were trying to cover it up.

Let me remind you that during Yar'adua's illness, no one from SouthEast and south south was testifying about the amnesty program he initiated in Niger delta, minimum wages he increased, the public sectors he got back from the hands of private investors and the arrears of unpaid allocations that owed by his successor, Obansanjo.

I was in Lagos during that period and believe me, all Yoruba Muslims visited the mosques on daily basis to pray and Solicite for the healing of President Yar'adua while igbos who live in Lagos were busy doing their businesses and waiting for the swearing in of Jonathan as the President.

I'm surprised on how people wake up to say they loved Yar'adua because he was better than Buhari, as far as Tribalisim is concerned, they most antagonistic tribe in this country is igbos and Naija deltans, we are the people calling for the division of this country because of our greed and envious characters.

When Goodluck became the President, what and what did he do for his people especially Bayelsa state? Nothing! What did he do for Niger delta? Nothing! What did he do for Southeast? Nothing! The only thing he did was to become a remote control for the thieves in this country, he sanctioned many loots and nearly destroyed this nation because he was incompetent and lacks decision.

Let's not forget how we celebrated Jonathan when he won, we all forgot that the Family of Late Yar'adua were in pains and sorrow, we forgot that Yar'adua granted amnesty to Niger delta, yes we forgot all these because we never liked northerners.

Igbos should get in line and make themselves Useful and stop complaining and disturbing the peace of the country, we are not the only tribe in this country, we will always refuse to vote and still complain of being marginalized and maltreated, we want the Hausa Fulani people out of Aso Rock but the same "us" are the people supporting most prominent Fulani politicians!

What do we even want? Buhari is fighting corrupt politicians who robbed you for many years and you are defending them because of your myopic understanding and tribal bigotry towards other tribes.

2019 is here and there is no igbo candidate for 2019 but we don't want Buhari to come back again, so what do we want? Who is our candidate since we don't want Buhari? Is it Atiku, Kwankwaso, Tambuwal, Saraki, Markafi?.

Wow! We are lost in our ignorance and because of our ignorance and stupidity, we shall continue antagonising the leaders of Nigeria because we have no aim and objectives towards our future.

We will all sit down here castigating everyone and miss another chance in 2023 then blame it on Notherners again, we call any igbo who loves and support another tribe an "efulefu" or "slave" yet we don't vote, we don't have PVC's and when they win, we say the election was rigged and that we are being marginalized because they don't want us to come to power.

It's unfortunate!

SE should sacrifice 2023 if APC zones presidency to SW.
This is an opportunity for PDP to take over power and that's what some characters like El Rufai is seeing hence the clamour for end of zoning.
It will be difficult for SW candidate to defeat Kwankwaso or Tambuwal in the north no matter who they pick as VP. There will be lots of cross carpeting if PDP picks from North in 2023....these politicians are greedy and would like to remain in power.
Both parties would play lots of mind games prior to their primaries.
PDP should take one popular and competent candidate from North and a VP from SS.

Was the South East VP? I don't take most of you serious because you're often talking based sentiments.
Was GEJ burying our soldiers in shallow grave? Were we a divided as we are now? So many questions you people will never ask.. But my joy is this will eventually lead to the final break up of this country.

You are talking about the North not forgetting as if South South has forgotten what you did to their son.

The North you are banking on has stated that after PMB, there will be no block vote. I have evidence to this.

Just know that in 2023 it will be a different ball game. PMB even had it tough winning his second term nit to talk to South Westerner lol. Mind you the North was 100% responsible for his second "win" so do not have your hopes so high that you did much because the North knows it. One of them even stated that they are disappointed in the South West despite "everything PMB has done" they were even proposing focusing on Niger Delta. If you doubt this as well, I have prove.

Democracy is a game of numbers. For a minority group like the Igbo to produce a president they have to be more civil , more friendly and less hateful. And above all have to to decide whether they are Nigerians or Biafrans, nobody wants a foreigner as his president.
