The project was launched in 2017 and it was scheduled for completion in 2021 but due to the long pending court cases over land dispute, its construction has been getting stalled since then, but again the foundation has already been laid.
Once all the court cases will be cleared, construction will resume normally.

Remains to be seen. Personally not too optimistic but not pessimistic either. Generally dont expect as much wastefulness as the Nigerians by Kenyans. We will do wonders! Funding these major infrastructure projects will be way easier. When full scale production begins in the next two years Kenya will be earning an equivalent of an SGR from Nairobi - Mombasa - Kisumu yearly. So far the way it has been done has been very smooth, procedural, straightforward. Didnt export until a final oil revenue sharing formula bill was agreed upon and passed (subject to review every few years to address emerging issues). We hope to learn along the way. How is Ghana doing it? How much do they export per day? Earnings?

I don't seen any major disagreements-the people at source,the Turkana have been sorted in terms of jobs and percentage and everything has been signed sealed publicly. Idk about other finds in Baringo,Keiyo and Marakwet,though.
