Mrfeel:noope. Why should we be? We mind our business, you leave yours and also mind ours. We love our homes and culture and strive to make it a better place, you leave your homes and rush to our side to make a living. Why should we be envious of a people who have no regard for their homes? I have never seen a yoruba person brag that he is going to buy a house in igbo land or try to oppress the people there. Which sensible yoruba man will be interested in that dump? Why should we be envious of people who prefer to use brawns instead of brains? Why should we envy igbos in anything? What have the igbos done that yoruba's never did prior and even surpassed? Truth be told, we are not your mates in anyway. The people you should be dragging with are the Niger Deltans. And even them have more influence on this country than you people today. 3 Likes |

cwale044: There is nothing special about the North/Southwest alliance, if need be, to stay in power the North would gladly throw the southwest under the bus and form an alliance with the southeast. Maybe the new normal might be an alternation of the vice presidency from southwest-southeast-southwest-southeast........etc. |

MrHeff: We are business minded people we are global citizens living all over the world doing business, we have regard for our homes, that's why we make money and take it home to develop our region, every Igbo man who has succeed outside Igboland has a mansion in his village, no one will come to Igboland buy our own land build houses and rent it to us to be tenants in our own region, there are many Igbo landlords in Lagos with Yoruba tenants, that's something to boast of, You yoruba's are always afraid when we igbos talk about having our Biafran Nation, cause you don't want to be left with the northerners, south East and South South are all Biafrans we own this nation's economy, the Lagos you yoruba's are always talking is developed by us we are the highest revenue generators of Lagos, we own properties equally with yoruba's that's why Lagos is reffered to as no man's land cause it's developed by people from different tribes especially Igbo to make it what it is, there is no place in the South East that can be tagged no man's land, cause everything we have here is built by us |

HAKYN1:Yorubas envy Igbos. Most Yorubas are lazy; they sell their land to us and use the money to do owambe party. When it finishes they start talking bad of us; they start attacking us. Those Yorubas who made money were backed by this country's devilish government. Igbo struggle on their own and still have the lowest poverty rate in Nigeria. What do Yorubas have that Igbo will envy them? We came to your land, outsmarted you in business, built mansions while you live in slums. You cook highly peppered soup that only causes peptic ulcer. What do you think you have that an Igbo man will envy you? Out of wickedness, Awolowo shortchanged our parents after the war by giving us 20 pounds no matter the amount of money they deposited in the bank before the civil war. What do we call that? Was it not wickedness? Kenneth Dike became the VC of University College, Ibadan, but Awolowo was never happy about it. He preferred a Yoruba professor to be the VC. Eni Njoku became the VC of UNILAG, but Yorubas were unhappy. Wetin we do una? Go to most of the markets in Lagos. They were started by Igbos. Trade Fair was single handedly built by Igbos. The FG didn't want to build seaports and international airports in the East, all because of fear that weapons could infiltrate into Igboland and they'll be used to wage a serious war against them. If seaports and international airports are built in Igboland, no Igbo man will think of coming to the West again. Hausa-Fulani never trusted the West, but they like them. Igbos have never caused a clash in the West; they've never killed any Yoruba man; they focus on their businesses, but Yorubas prefer to hate Igbos who did them no wrong. It's all because of our success. They thought we'd not spring up after the war. 1 Like 1 Share |

TheBeat:Buhari was even defeated in this 2019 election. We all know it was rigged. That's when I knew Buhari wasn't that formidable. So many Northerners voted against him. So, even with Buhari, the APC cannot win the presidential election. We saw how the PDP won the governorship elections of states earlier controlled by the APC. If there was a free and fair 2019 presidential election, Buhari wouldn't have won. |

And Leave their son South southerners will vote for him helping to truncate their second term bid South westerners will vote for him for caging and holding the region ransom South easterners will vote for him out of love and sabotaging the South Tinubu will win overwhelmingly |

isthatso:You're just a pathological liar! When did Yorubas start counting politically? You were in opposition from 1999 to 2015. If you had such a teaming population, why did Falae fail? From 1999 to 2015, igbo's votes were instrumental to who became president. Just these 4 years you were there had swollen your empty head with primitive pride to think that Igbo's votes can't count. Even in the 2019 presidential election, Buhari didn't win; he rigged the election. Who were the major people who voted for Atiku in 2019 presidential election other than SE, SS, NE, Middle Belt and few Yorubas? Even Yorubas don't have a higher population than Igbos. Go and verify the population of Igbos in Lagos, other SW states, North and SS. Then verify the population of Yorubas in those regions I mentioned above and tell me the truth whether the population of Yorubas is greater than that of Igbos. The truth is that Yorubas don't live that much in those regions. This is to show you that Igbo's population is greater than Yoruba's. However, every region counts. So, stop blabbing! Stop displaying your ignorance here. |

Mandeyy: You have a choice to take on board what i have said or you can choose to be sentimental. I said it before the 2015 election that PDP will gain nothing by giving peter Obi the ticket but ibos lambasted me and i say it again.... In the current political equation, the Ibo vote is irrelevant. By that i mean an irrelevant vote is a vote that is fixed, a vote that doesnt change. No matter what APC does Ibos will not vote for APC, no matter what PDP does Ibos will vote for PDP, so the Ibo vote does not change the political election math, therefore it is an irrelevant block vote. There is no need to incentivize the Ibos because they will not change their voting pattern. That is the meaning of irrelevance. The Northern vote can be split and the yoruba vote can be split, so they are relevant and need to be incentivized. You dont pay for something that is already yours and you dont waste your money and energy trying to get something that you can never have, that is the irrelevance of the Ibo vote!!! Anytime the Ibos have been on the winning side, the North has either been one and voted as a block (1999) or the SW also voted with the Ibos, 2003/2007,2011. Once the North is divided and it will be divided in 2023, a divided North cannot win an election partnering with Ibos without yoruba support. 2003, 2007, 2011 had a divided North but had southwest support thats why the Ibo supported party won, once the SW took away it's support in 2015 and 2019, it was impossible for the Ibo supported party to win. the most attractive bride in Nigerian politics now is SW. Like it or not, SW vote is the game changer because the North is divided and will be divided in 2023 because APC is either going to feild a Northern candidate or a SW candidate with Northern support in 2023, whatever the case they will have strong northern support even though they will lose the Buhari factor. You can take on board tor you can be sentimental. Dont say i did not tell you. you are still living in pre-2011 politics, things have changed my brother, the Ibo vote is an irrelevant vote because it doesnt change anything. PDP wont win because they have it and APC wont lose because they dont have it. The battle ground in 2023 will be North and SW. they are the ones whose votes can change. Even SS is more important than the SE vote. |

Eastlink: for the record, Ibos did not vote for Obasanjo the yoruba man, the yoruba candidate was falae as for Abiola let me put this on record the 1992 election results in the SE Abiola lost in Enugu, Abia, Imo. The only state Abiola won in SE was Anambra 212,000 to Tofa's 159K So please stop perpertuating this myth that you voted for yorubas and they owe you. Ibos have never voted for the yoruba candidate in the history of this country...FACT!!! |

PrecisionFx:And who told you that the SW care about Fulani domination. Why should the Igbo's care too. Power is returning back to the north in 2023 if the SW fail to put their mischief behind and work with the SE for the greater good of the south. This is politics and the same Fulani's have the upper hand. Only when the SE/SW work together that the Fulani's will become relegated politically. But that is still goose chase. |

ArewaWarrior:U must b highly delusional if u think the northerners will form alliance with the igbos, with the way u people are embarrassing their own. U think a northerner will wake up n dress to the poll only to vote an igbo man. U people remember biafra massacre but u think the northerners have forgotten sardauna n balewa? So because they don't cry about it like u do. With the situation of things on ground n how obvious it is that igbos hate buhari, it will b easy for a Togolese to b the president of the zoo than an igbo man |
