The knowledge makes the player better. That is why we have players like De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, David Silva, Firmino, Lewandowski, Kimmich, Lahm etc. Tactical superior players gain more from their talent than deficient ones. Training and playing under coaches of these manner bring the best out of players.

But these guys your mentioned didn't learn by sitting on the bench.

in fact, at a point when De bruyne was having less game time at Chelsea, he had to go back to Germany to re invent himself, before Man city brought him back to England. No matter how you paint it, sitting on the bench is detrimental to his so called learning . As a player, your learning is most effective on the pitch, playing week in week out.

Or is Nacho learning to become a coach?

All the players you mentioned are average nah, is there any world class in that list?

Sancho is not world class but is he average? I dont think so.

Rashford is also not world class but average he is not.

Arnold led other fullbacks last season across the big 5 leagues as the fullback with the most assists. Average? I dont think so.

Wan Bissaka is a young beast from his Crystal palace days. Definitely no average player.

Ben Chillwell keeps getting better and better as a youngster. He is no average talent. You also agreed with me that Chillwell and Ndidi are two of Leicester's next Big Money sales.

Maguire average? He's one of the most consistent and best CBs in the EPL today.

My man... my point is England does have a solid side. England is not average. Things have changed for them.

Sorry sancho is not average and Arnold

Rashford is average oga

Wan bissaka is still avergage, maybe with little time , i will only agree alexander arnold, he has proven him self in the world stage, you didnt even put a kyle walker self , lol

Because i agree with you that chilwell is one of leicester most valuable asset doesnt means he isnt average, many people said ndidi is average but my own opinion is also different.

Yes england have a solid side and we saw that at the last world cup but that doesnt means that so many average players are not there okay
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 4:59pm On Aug 29, 2019
They have averages no doubt. But they also boast more above average and slightly above average players than averages.

Walker didnt make the squad naa.... I was speaking of those Southgate (the real one ooo not our resident Southgate) called up.

Why do you think Klopp was not crazy about Benteke and preferred Firmino?

It is not about just playing in an offensive system but getting the best for player and team.

Had Benteke been given game time, he'd definitely get himself some goals.

Since you agree that game time is secondary and learning continuous, then, our dear Nacho should remain on the bench soaking up knowledge till he retires..

If he fails, then he is probably a low-quality player. Meanwhile if the situation is as it is, what brazen insult!. He will choose Nigeria only if Germany doesn't work. I won't tolerate such unpatriotic spirit. You either chose to play for Germany or Nigeria. You cant play for one half way and the other the rest of the way.

He will fail in the youth ranks of Germany in Jesus name

He has been solid this season. He made team of the week last week.

His strength is defending not going forward and he is better on the right.
