I never knew rohr will look his way and i am happy

I was told someone i prefer him to zuby despite me being a fan of zuby also

Yea think his physicality tips the scale in his favour because Anderson is actually really good on the ball also.

A fullback supposed to get past any opponent?

He was used as a wingback in many games.

Performance was dreadfully subpar.

So because of that he should not play for naija anymore abi?

Yes. He is very poor.

If not for his foreign background, we no for dey consider am at all. That guy would struggle to make the bench on an average NPFL side.

How Man City got such a group, I still dont understand. Not as tough compared to Barca's, Chelsea's or Madrid's.

Both man City and Liverpool got an easy draw. It’s their luck

Had Benteke been given game time, he'd definitely get himself some goals.

Since you agree that game time is secondary and learning continuous, then, our dear Nacho should remain on the bench soaking up knowledge till he retires..

I made it clear. I wonder the misconception. Improving and advancing in knowing the best positions to get the most of his talent is most important. Then he needs game time to show it. So where you got remaining on the bench baffles me.

But these guys your mentioned didn't learn by sitting on the bench.

in fact, at a point when De bruyne was having less game time at Chelsea, he had to go back to Germany to re invent himself, before Man city brought him back to England. No matter how you paint it, sitting on the bench is detrimental to his so called learning . As a player, your learning is most effective on the pitch, playing week in week out.

Or is Nacho learning to become a coach?
Oga stop dropping Lame excuses everywhere

The chance to work with tactically deep coaches and gain knowledge that will take a player his whole career will make up for the lack of game time. However, it should not be a long objective but a year or two project.

Why I said if Nacho is leaving he has my blessings is because working with Guardiola, Pellegrini and now a full preseason with Rodgers can give a bright young man the understanding to forge ahead with his career.

De Bruyne, Silva and the rest you mentioned are all learning and playing games while Nacho dey bench. If the trend continues, Nacho might become a coach before he's 27yrs with all the knowledge he's soaking.
If he turns out to become our Julian Nagelsmann or AVB, I won't complain sha.

No one said that but a year or two. Making a fight for game time, while still in the aura of a young player comes after. If he feels he is ready, he got my blessings.

How the mighty have fallen, looking at Benteke a guy that was banging in goals for fun.

Then he decided to upgrade go to Liverpool for big money he did Ok in the first two seasons but it's been down hill ever since. His time at Crystal Palace has been ABYSMAL.

How can a player be so good and then become so bad in such a short space of time. It's very difficult to understand.

Admittedly most teams are not playing to his strengths but it's still very difficult to explain.

Benteke matter wasn't about playing time o...In fact he was being managed as first choice striker when Klopp first took charge...he just didn't suit Klopp's style of play at all..as in at all. Klopp like his team to be mobile and fast .and hardworking ..Benteke didn't tick any of the box at all...

He has been solid this season. He made team of the week last week.

His strength is defending not going forward and he is better on the right.

He is right footed and obviously doesn't use his left foot well ..

How did he now end up as a left back?
