It's simple, everyone pays tax according to the amount they make and their tax bracket. It is removed from salary whether it is per month or every week/two weeks. Since this calculation does not take into account taxes paid on your house, car, expenses for your children, schooling etc; 1 in 4 people get a refund after the year ends.

But there is always new and evolving middle class, if in confusion you can easily say any faimily who sends thier kids to abroad unis for crazy tuition fees paid for in Naira is Middle Class.

Cos these families wont be rich rich like that but they neither are they poor like that
