The only way you can very much have a very lasting solution to the bondage of sin, lust of the eye, lust of the flesh & pride of life is by the experience of sanctification.
It's an experience that makes it possible for the Holy spirit to live & work through a man.
It's an experience you witness after you might have genuinely experienced the gift of salvation, but since even after salvation, you will still notice the war within your flesh & soul to fulfill the desire of the flesh.
Most cases, you will succumb to the desire of the flesh, but after you sincerely & deeply tarry & desire the sanctifying power of God,you experience, then only will you be only be empowered to live a holy life pleasing to God.
But be warned, you must continue with fellowship with God,else in the long run,you most likely will notice an emptiness & lack the power you once had when you're still walking in the faith.
Sorry, eternal security is not a biblical doctrine..
Sanctification experience proves that..

Those may help, but are not exclusively the basis of living a sinless life.
It may have worked for Op but may not work for others. The grievous mistake people make today is to tell infant believers(christians actually) to fast, pray and read bible. To be candid with my humble self,85% of sinners who wish to repent may not be able to live a holy life through this process.

So what's my suggestions:
Christians and everyone who desires to experience light(jesus christ) should surrender their life to God through Jesus and with the help of Holy Spirit. Then strive hard to attain a significant level of self-restraint.With self control one can overcome certain sins because they are significantly in control of their actions.A frequent masturbator would gladly reach for his dickson to relieve some urges, but would not do that if he has given his life to God and apply self caution.
A klepto who has decided not to steal would overcome with prayer and self control.

Don't get me wrong, the above listed by the op are right but are too advanced to be used by a sinner.
Remember,Jesus lives forever.
self control is the best option

Yesterday was the first time ever I was able to rebuke sin(satan’s temptation) and it vanished immediately. It used to take time to vanish or may never vanish atall but yesterday was totally different.

Sin is sin, there is no less sin or great sin. Its the nature of sin that is shed once you accept Jesus Christ. A born again Christian will always sin,but his is always cleansed cos of his new nature.

Actually those practices are for spiritual growth. Power over sin comes through the grace of God.

Oh? Very nice to know. Pray tell, what makes one a "Christian"? Believing in myths and fables about a Jewish crowd puller, supposedly born of a virgin, claiming to have been sent from an all-powerful God, and who somehow is this God himself, and who was arrested and crucified like a common criminal, died, rose from the dead and apparently ascended to heaven, but still today, debates rages on as to the actual site of the tomb he was supposedly buried. He ascended to heaven with his physical body, right? That's why his body(or whatever remains of his body) can't be found, but people who had lived and died from years before this Jewish Messiah supposedly came to this earth, their tombs have been traced, their remains have been found, worthy mention is one of the Egyptian Pharaohs.

Might be time you face up to the reality that you're steeped in believing a myth, created as a tool of control. A belief based on a faulty foundation of the Bible whose origin and authenticity is subject of debates, based on the life and time of a mythical Jewish crowd puller. undecided

Do a search on the words "sober" and "sobriety" on your e-Bible or use concordance.

He is always cleansed even when he/she sins because he is a new creature ?
What kind of devilish doctrine is these

I guess you're once saved forever saved apologist .

The very soul that sinned shall die !

EZEKIEL 3:20-21

20 Again, if a righteous man turns from his righteousness (right doing and right standing with God) and some gift or providence which I lay before him he perverts into an occasion to sin and he commits iniquity, he shall die; because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered, but his blood will I require at your hand.

21Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man not to sin and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he is warned; also you have delivered yourself from guilt
.

That you have experienced the gift of salvation, sanctification & holy ghost baptism doesn't give you the licence to sin,but if you sin,and refuse to ask for forgiveness from God,you're standing condemned !

Apostle Paul asked a very critical question that, shall we continue in sin so grace may abound ? God forbid !

So if you forget a sin, it means you are going to hell?
Let me explain well for you, God is a spirit, all the salvation and righteousness etc are things that happen in your spirit not your body. So God relates with you via your spirit not your physical body.
I am not a fan of once saved always saved cos your can renounce your salvation and reject Jesus and once you do there is no other sacrifice for sin (except Jesus who you have rejected).
You quote me the old testament about the soul that sins shall die, but you forget that someone died on your behalf and that is Jesus, your faith in him is what saves you. God is no more angry about sin cos someone has paid the price of sin. Jesus died for the sins of the world you get salvation by confessing and putting your faith in the righteous works of Jesus. You dont go to hell for sins you commit you do for rejecting the price that has been paid for sin. Its like telling God i do not need your payment for sin,I can pay by myself and since everyone is born with the sin nature the price is death in hell. Therefore Jesus paid for sins of the world and changes your nature to that of himself (no more the sin nature). That is why in John chapter 3 it says "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God".

That was judgement. There was no back story regarding their lives etc and it only happened once so you can't make a doctrine out of it.

Yes, jugdement is very important, and God will reward every person according to his work.
2Ti 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The judgement for lying/sin was not once. It happened to Ananias once. Three hours later it happened a second time to his wife, Sapphira.

1Co 11:28  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
1Co 11:29  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
1Co 11:30  For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

Jesus paid the price for the sins of these Corinthians too. They believed and even took Communion. But they did not examine themselves, and they were judged.Jesus died on their behalf but many were weak and sickly and died. i hope you don't need more.

Your value system is what defines you.

You can pray, fast and read the bible, none of these will keep you from marching to brothels regularly if you don't understand your spirit man.

How you value something is what you prioritize.

God is not judging sin at the moment. He will be unjust to judge sin on his son and judge you for the same sin after you have accepted his son.
The time for judgement is not now. The consequence of what the Corinthians did is what they experienced. It's different from judgement. Just as the consequence of having unprotected sex can be pregnancy, it does not mean judgement. .
The people who God will reward according to their work are people who have accepted Jesus not just anyone doing good works. Good works don't save,If it did Jesus wasted his time coming.
