If ur headlamp casing is not projector or not designed for HID xenon lights, installing one will not improve visibility. In fact it would reduce ur visibility and also affect upcoming vehicles by blinding them. A lot of people are guilty of this. IF ur headlight casing is designed for this then no problem, but if it is not pls don't install them. Let's all embrace safer driving at night. Some people even install aftermarket hid lights on both their low and high beams. I wish we have a better traffic laws in this country.

Abeg buy HID lights and ensure your vehicle does not enter a pothole, massive enough to swallow an elephant.....

If this hopeless government wants to enforce traffic laws, they should make all our roads potholes free and light the roads at night .......

Other drivers using high beam, at night would blind you, roads are an apology etc etc

You should consider 'shining' your headlight casing first.

They use a power tool to sand out the yellowing and dullnesss, and spray with lacquer or clear coat. Makes the lens look brand new and clear

In my experience that helps a whole lot.

Ask around for these body shop guys. They do it. Doesn't cost much too.


If that doesn't improve it, try getting brighter bulbs of the same type you currently have like original Phillips or other good halogens

I have been thinking of LED not HID. However,ni heard the light isnt great especially during or after rains.

I heard LED has more focus.

Generally the best HID kits are brighter and more expesive than LED's. But more cumbersome and require too many parts, and they die quicker than LED's. Oh and LED's look more beautiful.
