This is your opinion. I've been following John Wick from the very first installment and I've come to understand that the reality which the movie is centered in is fantastical. JW is killing machine, sorrounded by myths which are in actuality, understated truths, as the Russian boss pointed out at the beginning of Chapter 2. What you pointed out is not an improbable reaction because Wick is a legend who has adoring fans. The fighters paused each time they had a kill chance because they are star struck fans who feel honoured to fight 'The Boogeyman'. Killing him was not their order, but weakening him so that their boss would move in and finish him off. The boss had earlier told him at the hotel that "John Wick will die by my sword and no one else's'', so the minions' main objective was to fight and bring him to his knees, not kill him. Wick knew this, which is why when he leveled them, he saluted them and left.

This third Chapter is super! cheesy

What @Zoharariel couldn't factor in is the implications of the legendary status of John Wick and also the number people who are either indebted to him or see him as a worthy ally. These are alliances he cultivated as he built his pedigree. Right from the first installment, there has been many instances JW could have died. It was the factors listed earlier that bought him time to change the tide of events or shielded him from death.
Do you remember the guard at the club that thanked John Wick for not killing him in chapter one?
Usually people like John Wick are usually killed by an accidental opportunity by an average fellow.

Houdini died from complications that resulted from blows delivered to his stomach by a student when he wasn't prepared for it during a relaxed meeting.

Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

One of the dopest in the movie.

More comical version of Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, IMO. Brad Pitt was amazing as Mickey. Most of the time, he's incomprehensible, but man, that fucker_ has a killer right hook. Every character is well written, from the narrator, Turkish (Jason Statham), to Bullet-Tooth Tony. The London Mobster, Brick Top, scared the hell out of me. Man's a straight up psychopath, gave no fucks_. He also had the best lines. I burst out laughing when he answered a phone call with this gem:

"In the quiet words of virgin Mary, come again"

Overall, it's such a great film, the most quotable film I've seen in a while. Every single person on screen played their part to a T. The very stylish cinematography and witty dialog, supplemented with scene suitable soundtracks, made for an enthralling experience. Guy Ritchie at the top of his game.

9/10

Vinny Jones killed it as Bullet-Tooth Tony. Dropped some epic lines. Remember the desert eagle monologue? Damn, that was good.

Them 3 yardies are dumb AF. I call them, dumb, dumb and dumber.

IT: Chapter 2 is less than 7 days away. I haven't felt this excited about a movie since... since Endgame. With talents like James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader and Bill Skaargard headlining, it's only natural to have high expectations. Can't wait for the IMAX experience.

Big guns ? Lol!!! A movie that has talking tree limited to 3 words smashed the boxoffice critically more than your biggest guns. I would still be here to remind you adequately when Love and thunder makes loves to your big guns and reach violent orgasm. You saw Mcu slate for 2 years and you are laughing hysterically but you are talking of a C Lister Aquaman man making a billion and that's funny to me because how then do we grade iron man and the avengers team? Accept your L , Mon Ami from the Dead comics and remember, Dread it , run from it , destiny arrives all the same.In all my years of conquest,Violence , slaughter, It was never personal. But i tell you now , what I'm about to do your annoying dead comics universe, I'm gonna enjoy it....very very much

Yeah yeah. Love and Thunder, after that title name another one. Stop being a comedian, Aquaman was his first solo outing, that's different for Ironman.

Dead comic universe?? That can be said for Marvel comics, cos u dead long tym ago and ain't matter.

Only your Cinematic Universe is your saving grace. Since You ppl are flops in everything else u just love to Shout to the high heavens in the only thing u good at.

That's nice.

It had better be a stand alone movie, because if its coming as a sequel to Shazam its going to be a disaster, as someone that grew up reading DC comics, DCEU's Shazam was a disgrace to avid comic readers.

How was Shazam a disgrace to comic readers.

Well Black Adam is definitely a standalone. It was to be introduced to Shazam as the villain but was shelved since it's too complicated a story to tell all at once. That's why its been given a standalone and might very possibly go up against HAWKMAN.

The plan is for Black Adam to go up against Captain Marvel in Shazam 2, I hear possibly also face off the Justice league.

The Sweet thing about Black Adam is that it may very possibly set up the Justice Society of America. Since it features two of its members in Hawkman and The Atom.

As for me, I'm anticipating the Big Screen adaptation of Dr. Fate!! grin embarassed

Whats this horseshiit am reading about MCU coming out with a A-Force (All Female) movie, and Captain Marvel will be making a come back, I think there is now a Paradigm Shift between DCEU and MCU feature productions.

One has hit the heights and is now going down, while the other has hit the rock bottom and now going up.

Indeed. I couldn't have said it better.

To fully understand John Wick, you need to start from the very beginning. Frankly, IMHO, Parabellum is the very best in the series, and unsurprisingly it's the highest grossing so far.

Men In Black- International

After this movie, I'm going to use my discretion in selecting movies with bad reviews. MIB has been gutted several times over on this thread so I watched it anticipating a really shitty movie. I was wrong.

This MIB pays homage to it's predecessors, and though it is not as good as 1 and 2 (MIB 3 was crap), it is not as bad as it has been painted here. Loads of laughs, typical Chris Hemsworth performance (I really wish he will take on more challenging roles instead of the handsome, vapid blonde roles that he is becoming associated with) and really nice VFXs.
