STFD!... Are you saying you're just seeing White House Down for the first time? i don't believe it bro. Well i kinda prefer Olympus Has Fallen to White House Down.

I was told they were the same movie with different names, thus I didn't see the need to see White House Down. Never knew I'll end up liking it much more. For one, unlike OHF, WHD didn't take itself too seriously, it knew it had a ridiculous premise, and more or less ran with it. It even had a little girl twirling a presidential flag right in the middle of a carnage FFS.  I switched my brain off and was immensely entertained.

Is it that movie where POTUS fired a bazooka?

Starring Foxx?

I saw something online and I want to confirm it.

Please, what is the average price for blockbusters in the cinema over there?

Can't say for certain. It depends on the theater and format. For instance, Indie movies go as low as $4 dollars, Blockbusters, for $10 to $20. For IMAX/3D experience, $20-$30. For VIP treatment (your own box and the whole nine yards), $50. It varies from theater to theater.

Fortunately, I live in a fairly big city teeming with movie theaters. I have options, and often I go for the most frugal - New Vision Theaters. For popular franchises with 3D-centric visuals, I occasionally splurge on IMAX.

i will never understand how this movie flopped, terminating geena davis action woman career

"you know i can tell when someone lying to me"
"were you this stupid or did you take lessons"
" so kill em for me bitch- what are you good for?"
"Mommy, am we gonna die? -: Oh, no, baby, no. You're not going to die. They are "
"life is pain - get used to it!"
Shut the Bleep up!

Cuthroat Island not only killed Davis' career, it reduced studio's interest in making pirate themed movies same way Cowboys and Aliens/The Lone Ranger reduced their interest in westerns.

America is totally useless. In smaller towns in UK, you could watch a blockbuster for between £6-£9.

In central London, it's about £10-£17

I have only gone for VIP once and paid £20. I think it was a discount. I watched the hobbit part 3.

Peckham cinema, in south London has a gangsta cinema that shows moves for as low as £5 or £6

Need I remind you that America has much better economy than the UK?

In small town America, tickets prices are peanuts. Contrastly, commodities are generally expensive in big town America. Pretty sure similar scenerio is seen in the UK and everywhere else.

Furthermore, America employs a taxing system that tends to make her commodities very expensive, as opposed to her western counterparts. A $10 ticket in America is actually $8 before tax.

You sound like someone who studied IT and not business/economics.

UK has similar taxes to the usa (personal income)

The tax on sales is similar the difference is that in the UK, it is already calculated in the cost of goods.

We in the UK are not stupid like Americans who refuse to put the full price on goods sold. Why separate the taxes as if the customer wont pay it at the end?

Oh, by the way, the UK has a better economy than the USA. Stop thinking like a cowboy. Bigger is not better. We in the UK have a higher standard of living

Bleep AMERICA grin

The UK may have a higher standard of living due to her smaller population, and miniscule land mass, but America has a better, more robust, and more attractive economy. In both GNI and GDP per capital, America shits on the UK, heck, there are three states in America that have better GNI and GDP than the UK, namely California, Texas, and NY. The UK isn't even the best Economy in Europe. In GDP per capital, she' a distant second to Germany. In GNI per capital, she's 10th in Europe. Things will get even worse for the UK post no deal Brexit.

FUCK_ The UK. grin

The UK tory government is just as inept as her American counterpart, worse even. The UK is as racist as America, and two times more xenophobic.

Trump is trying to build a wall between America and Mexico, guess where he got the idea from? Just guess. Yup, the center of equality, the UK. Google Calais border barrier, why don't you? Brits hate foreigners and immigrants, heck, it's what precipitated this Brexit trainwreck in the first place. You think Trump is bad? The UK prime minister, Boris Johnson, is his more evil twin.

The only places Brits have a modicum of superiority over Murica are in healthcare and policing, that's it. In other areas, America shits_ all over them island monkeys. grin
