Where were you when Oga Oracle and Prof taught us about not selling all dividend paying stocks once you have your name in the Registrar's book?
You've seen result of not reading your notes or missing class bah. smiley
Anyway, you are NOT supposed to SELL ALL to keep your name constantly in the Registrar's book. You should have leave 10 units or so. One of the vital notes I can't forget.......and it's working for me now.

Ironically, even if you sell All your units, your name is still on the register, but you will need to do edividend mandate for any fresh units you buy.

Your name should be in the register of CSCS, if I'm right .....but you wouldn't have access to it until it's credited to your trading account.
Check what you have in below link first by typing your name:
https://sec.gov.ng/non-mandated/

Contact your stock broker to resolve this for you.

Don't mind them.
Na dem. grin
They are trying to pull the price down by creating more offers of what they will not sell, to make people jump out.

You welcome.
Think you can also search for the stock registrar and send a mail to them, this should be quick if it's one of the effective registrars. They should have your record with them too.

Thanks I found my name. Please will the downloaded form be submitted to any branch of gtb since my shares is that of gtb or Access Bank where I have my bank account. I'm based in Abuja and I don't think Datamax registrar has office here.

Am sorry for the many questions.

Yet another perspective to the VALUE proposition in UACN(weighted against its subset, UPDC and UPDC REITS)

Aside the thing about comparing their ALTMAN Z-SCORE(which I highted in the past), there's a bit more.

...a brief;

1st off; according to the proposed unbundling, the shareholders of UACN are to get stakes in UPDC and UPDC REITS post rights issuance to updc shareholders, which is expected to raise near N16B to offset the bridge loan taken from UACN.

3 benefits;

1) Given that the allotment of shares comes post rights issue by UPDC, the shareholders of UACN are totally exempt from any impact of a likely equity dilution.

2) UACN will get a good boost from the leverage(approx N16B) accrued from the rights.
Again, UACN will also indirectly benefit from all the restructuring initiative of the unbundling, including an asset allocation with a current mkt value of near N9B to UPDC(plus an interest payment of over N20B accrued to updc in the reits)

3) The unbundling and 'gifting' to current shareholders of UACN also means they'll immediately partake of accrual gains and future EV(enterprise values) of the subsets, updc and updc-reits.

Using the sum of all parts(SOTP) valuation technique(an indicative tool used to guage the likely value of the subsidiaries/constituents that form a holding company when been sold/spun off or divested from), we can further look in on the inherent VALUE passable to the group.(UACN)
...The idea is to break up the holding coy/conglomerate into the 2 subsets and try to value them seperately.

Using this technique(adjudged from the benefits with the subsets updc and updc-reits EV, RoIC, EV to EBIT, OS, PEG and P/B) as well as its current financial status in view, and adjusting for risk, I have a re-adjusted FVE of approx N14.25 for UACN.
...this is assuming zero% growth to YE.(Assuming that UACN makes zero earning in H2, 2019)

Away from the proposed unbundling, the group is also looking to spun off from its hotel business arm, updc hotel(UHL) to aide more leverage.(assets classified as held for sale/distribution to owners in view)
...and a total revamp of its quick service restaurant arm(UAC restaurant) to further boost earnings.

VERDICT: UACN remains a strong BUY for us !!
While short term price prospect is uncertain(due mainly to the current volatility in the mkt), medium term prospect is STRONG and with a lot of drive.

My advice: Just follow ur instinct.

Before u choose to key into UPDC, remember;

1) Fundamentally, the company is still an unhealthy one.

2) There'll be an impact of dilution post right issue, before the proposed unbundling from the parent coy, UACN. ...which could add to the pressure on updc' EM, ROAE and AsY.

3) Post unbundling, the qualified holders in UACN who got free stakes in UPDC(and updc reits) will want to liquidate their holding in it(updc) mainly because of point 1 and 2 highlighted above.

If with these 3 points, u still do not understand why any price rise in UPDC might not be sustainable in the short term or why a choice btw UACN and UPDC should be an easy one, then I don't know how else to guide us.

The point is; UPDC might be good post unbundling, but UACN is undoubtedly a far much better option to align with.

Salah.

Yes. Download and fill the form. Scan it and send directly to the registrar, if it's not the wahala type, they'll do the processing. Try that first. You'll see their email on the mandate form.
I did it for more than 2 Registrars and it worked for me.....but if you're told to bring it to their office, you may go and submit it thru bank or ask them for their Abuja office address and take it there.

Indeed ur understanding matters quite fast !!

Same thing(from the prankster group) is playing out in UACN, AIICO, FCMB, ZENITH, and a few other coy in the 'NSE room'

We are earnestly waiting for them to push down their prices so we can accumulate much more !!
...I am particularly interested in UACN. My cutlases have since been sharpneed thrice. wink cheesy grin

They will need about N66m to bring another 3m units on offer, iniatially bought at N22 each. And it must have been paid for and lounging in their portfolio.

Them no get again.
