Miles away from MTN is total rubbish statement spurned from inferiority complex and pull our down syndrome. I don't use MTN, the network I use is 1000% better than MTN

You're absolutely right but let's be sincere tell us the network and even in terms of open tariff plan as well. The bitter truth is that if South Africans companies is nationalized who will manage them, is it the FG that couldn't manage NITEL, Nigeria Airways or the failed national carrier which a lot was wasted on. Apart from that MTN is a quoted company on Nigeria stock exchange which means it is owned by individual which you also can own a unit with less than 150 naira.

Sir get tye message; our penchant for anything provided it is not made it distributed by locals just to show off is our greatest undoing as a nation.

Do you asked why NYSC has to import the the gears for corps members instead of buying them within the nation?

Or why our DISCOs resort to importing prepaid meters instead of patronising the ones manufactured in Lagos?

Or Senators will import utility vehicles for instead of going for Innoson brands? The list is endless
that's the point am trying to make as well.. In as much as those companies are leading it doesn't make them miles ahead. If they leave, there are other companies on ground to absorb them. The reason why they are leading isn't because they are doing things that are spectacular its just the governments protecting their interest. The only reason many people still put up with DSTv is because of the exclusive right they have for viewing top matches, they aren't the only one in Africa with the rights but we choose to give them the exclusive right in Nigeria. In advance countries no company will enjoy a 30% monopoly. You are right its the government that allow all this rubbish.

Ever heard of Amazon Fire stick or Android box? Do you know with good internet of about 19k use Spectranet unlimited or NTEL unlimited of 17500, you can steam thousand of channels with amazing and new contents unlike the nonesense dstv is showing??

Sorry sir, the amount you just mention is also a problem with a greater one - where do you get the "good internet" from in Nigeria? Sir, until we are ready to tell ourselves the truth and decide to build, the future is still very bleak for Nigeria

They was no light before Buhari came, the roads were in a very bad conditions but thanks to the Buhari administration most are undergoing rehabilitation. Light, don't even mention that one because we all know better. I can tell that; this guy is an Igbo guy because they are the ones blaming Buhari for every misfortune.
Yes these things weren't there. You're right. But how many of it has Buhari added so that when another takes over, he/she can add to them?

Buhari wasn't "voted" to compete for the failures of PDP or his predecessors of which he is also one.

oga get my point.. They are ahead not MILES ahead.. What's your definition of miles ahead., do they have the cheapest voice or data, do they have the quality service all over Nigeria? Can MTN hold Nigeria to ransom or threaten Nigeria they are leaving and we will panic or fidget. If your answer is yes to all those question then you can say they are miles ahead meaning other network have no hope.. Otherwise my brother they are just ahead waiting to be pounced upon by other network should they start messing up.

You can only boycott what you have an alternative to. In Nigeria who is competing with DSTv, even in the telecom, other brands are still miles away from MTN.

To worsen, matters, even the poor no longer patronize the kiosks in their neighbourhood but root for ShopRite. The list is endless.

A nigga once said:i agree with you 100%.you cannot really boycott what you don't have an alternative for. It's high time we stop deceiving ourselves and tell ourselves the truth. If we had an alternative this topic would not have been raised by a Nigerian. Let the government stop frustrating private business and see the real meaning of boycotting by Nigerians..

you're still not getting the beat. ok. MTN has the highest number of subscribers. Thus, their profit is also high. Even our leaders will not allow them to reduce tariffs. Know why?

Nigeria would have been a lot better if our colonial masters had actually stayed longer than 1960 ,they would have developed key sectors( though for their own comfort) of our economy while setting the tone for our self discovery..

We as a nation need a lot of lesson to sail through our selfish, unpatriotic and self destabilizing way of life.

As at last trading day (Friday 20th of September) the closing price of MTN is N140, which means with 150 including charges you will get a unit so your 1500 will not get you nothing less than 10 unit. The shares is traded on daily basis on NSE except on weekends and public holiday. Let me tell you this it is the most capitalized company on Nigeria stock exchange. Consult your broker

How is it xenophobic to boycott SA businesses in reaction to the attack on Nigerians?

Startimes is fast catching up. I couldn't believe my eyes the last time I say their picture quality. They also have some really decent contents and affordable.

Last time I visited my village, two things stood out. Most people were now using cooking gas instead of kerosene and Startimes was everywhere. Those guys have completely displaced DStv in rural Nigeria. Remove football n DStv will crumble.

If Startimes want to collect football license from DStv. I swear to God their Government will right then the check. Better fear Chinese money. Same way Huawei now controls our telecommunication which was before held by Ericsson.

I use glo, and my glo has never dropped 4G service in any part of Lagos even while in transit. Might be d phone tho.

Yinmu! I just dey laugh you. grin have you used startimes recently well lemme update you, they have removed Spanish league and Seria A and Fox Sports from their channel list without prior warning na only Brundelsliga remain for startimes. Called customer care they said they don't have money for airing rights for those leagues again. So Gotv might take a fair share of the market back from startimes
