Good evening mummies, what can I use to improve my cervical mucus during ovulation, I don't use to see that egg white thing during ovulation but if I use ovulation test kits it shows that ovulation is near.

Please Ma, how does english lemon look like cos I haven't heard /seen it before? Where can one find it? Thank you

English lemon is the imported type of lemon. We don't grow them in Nigerian. I said English because I have had one mama one time said she bought lemon for N50/100. Those are the Nigeria/our local 'lemon' which I very doubt they are lemons. Do not use those. Those might just be lime or even worse. Not good for ttc mamas. The one I know is the English lemons. They sell them in shoprite, spa supermarket, everyday supermarket etc.

So this is English lemon picture

Thank you Mommdav for your answers. It's always soothing to read from you. Please can you share the recipe for the ewedu / cabbage juice for high prolactin?
Fertility blessings!

Ewedu recipe.. am sure if you search this thread you will see it. Because its been discussed over and over in the past. Its basically cooked ewedu without the potash. You can season with crayfish, salt, locust beans etc if you like. You can make the same way you make your ewedu soup but skip potash.

Cabbage juice is gotten by dicing your clean cabbage, put in a blender, add water and blend. Sieve out the water/juice and drink the juice only 20 to 30 mins before food two to three times daily. Cabbage is very reach in B vitamins.

There are lots of things you can do. Just search this thread and you will see. Eat cucumber days before ovulation. Drink plenty water. Eat/drink grapefruit juice mix with water days before ovulation (do not take more than one or half per day). This will also help with ovulation. I read somewhere that too much of grapefruits is not good for you.

You can get grapefruits from our local markets. It grown in Nigeria. Even the pink ones..delicious

Maybe you try Medicare Clinics along Idiroko road, opposite Justrite. They have many gynecologists and doctors. Don't know how good they are in fertility cases but I heard its a good hospital. All the best.
thanks mama I will try out

I beg to disagree with this, the lemons grown and sold in Nigeria are completely safe compare to the foreign ones as the foreign ones might have a lot of preservatives in them.
Lime and lemons do not resemble as the back of the lemon is usually rough and that is what differentiate it from other citrus, lime on the other hand is very small and smooth and not good for TTC.
Most foreign fruits are packed with preservatives which worsen things for us sometimes, is better to to always source for locally grown that are in season, just my take.

The Sperm/ejaculate did not enter the right channel/hole which is the womb...so it comes out

My sister i really have same concerns too. Sperm is fluid and i think excesses it will definitely flow out, i mean law of gravity. When i have se.x, sperm always always flow out, it lasts for like 2 days sometimes, i have always had that and i took it as a normal thing.

I just didnt want to say anything so it wont be as if i am undermining people's ' problems'. I was a regular her in 2017 when i was ttc-ing and now I'm almost due with my second.

Some MUST flow back out, no two ways about that one. Unless the quantity is small and it's viscosity is high, it then takes a longer time to come out, making them not notice when it does...but like you said, it can stick up there in crevices for more than a day. You see, when conception is not forthcoming, it's easier to begin to imagine things that might be conspiring against you. Sperm leakage, no visible cervical mucus..blah blah...are inconsequentialities that women have gone on to conceive multiples with. Worse yet, is that some of us trust every belief an aged person relays...imagine her thinking that it is pathological!

We'll finish discussing this now and yet come back in two months to another person having the same worry.

Beg to disagree what my darling? cheesy
I am not in any contention with anyone my sweetheart. Gone are the days I do that. If I advice base on experience and you choose to disagree it all good sweetheart. Just go ahead and take whatever you want to take dear.

I made a recommendation on using English lemon days back, right? And some mamas asked to know the type. I just described the lemon I used to mamas who asked. I have used both 'local lemon' the Nigeria type and the foreign time. And I recommended the one that worked for me and gave me expected result. If you wish to do otherwise, it your choice dear. Experience they say is the best teacher. Gone are the days I argue to convince. Go try it yourself hun

We all eat apples, English pear, grapes, strawberry, kiwi, blueberry, raspberry etc and yet they are imported and not grown on our soil/Nigeria.

Attached is the Nigeria type, you and as much people that want to use it can go ahead dear kiss

Do have a great evening. Fertility blessing to all.

Ttc can mess with one's head, i mean i know what i went thru during my time. You begin to think of things that are not but it would be easier if people focus on real issues.

May God help us all.
