Isn't it time for Rorh to release list for the Brazil friendly yet?

It's just three weeks away.

Gernot Rohr: My squad against Brazil ready

Nigerians rooting for Chelsea’s duo of Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori to don the Super Eagles colours would have to wait a little longer, according to Coach Gernot Rohr.

Though enthusiastic about the prospect of adding the duo to the Super Eagles, the German said it is a long process before the players can make the expected switch since they had already featured for England.

He cited the fact that Abraham and Tomori have played with the English youth teams would make it difficult to process their eligibility for the Super Eagles.

He used Torino’s Ola Aina as an example of how difficult it was to change nationality.

“The two players (Abraham and Tomori) have already played with England and there is a long process to follow before they can feature for Nigeria,” Rohr said in a chat with NationSport.

He added: “It took NFF one year before we could get Ola Aina to play for us.”

Meanwhile, Rohr hinted that he has already submitted the Super Eagles team list for next month’s International friendly between Nigeria and Brazil to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The Super Eagles will face the five-time world champions on October 13 at the National Stadium in Singapore.

The thee-time African champions, Nigeria begin their qualifying campaign for the 2021 AFCON on November 11 against Benin Republic at the southern Nigerian town of Benin City. Sierra Leone and Lesotho are the other teams in their qualifying group.

they were in same group...
Algeria played Switzerland, France and South Korea
I think they won south Korea, draw Switzerland and lost against France.....

Nope , algeria was in group with russia , belgium and south korea . in WC 2014 . and played germany next .

Last france algeria match was in 2001 . (4-1) in france . and the french national anthem was booed during the match in france . same during france match with morocco and tunisia . thats why france avoid playing north africcan teams .even in france they play like outside grin

this is a good one after all England can't absolve all this Anglo-Nigerian players...
if they do beyond normal... the core British nationals may revolt....

wish Southgate was some one with a strong aversion towards Africa especially Nigeria origin players....

we would have make so much from it

Of all of them listed here the most important acquisition would be Ebere Eze if we pull it off.

As shitty as the NPFL is, people will still be defending the league. How can you see dark and call it clear bright sky?

Should we close down tthe league then so that you can employ the players and coaches or what are we gaining from una constant downgrading?

Tomori 45%? I think that just got lower going by his latest comments in the light of his knowing that his performances for Chelsea could attract England boss Southgate...

This is Tomori when asked the question of international allegiance...

"I'm a citizen of all three (countries) so we'll see. I was born in Canada and lived there about seven or eight months old. My family is Nigerian, obviously I live in England. It's nice to have that. I can't play Under-21 football anymore so the last international break I didn't get called up to anyone. Next one maybe we'll see"

This message is annoying considering Rohr aint quite OK with the use of English. I dont know meaning to make off this. The message has such sense that "we are already on, with the process of having this guys' paper works sorted out, but won't be completed before the next convocation, hence would take as long as Aina's". But, it could be Rohr was saying a different thing all together, since we avnt read anywhere that the guys have finally pledged their respective allegiances to the Eagles. Smh

I am not giving up. I used "If" because we aren't closer to achieving that yet. But I strongly believe he would play for Nigeria. Infact I rate his chances far higher than the others except Lookman. Eze and Lookman are lads I know will turn out for us in the long run judging by the current state of events and happenings.
