Usually, the exams and records department are slow in responding to important matters as this. You will need to go back there or ask anyone who's helping you to go with a screenshot or printout of your status, where it shows WES has sent them a mail for verification. Ask to know who's in charge and see the log book of sent verifications, if your own isn't there ask for it to be se t immediately. That is what I did.

The person I do send has stopped taking my calls because he's tired of going there, we've been on this issue since April and am very far from portharcourt. I don't have anyone to send again. I don't know if you have any contact there please

Senior people in the house pls I have 2 questions cos this seems technical to me. 1st Job is a secondary school teacher (NYSC) while the second and third job falls under the same noc (Journalist).

Pls can this fly as 3 or more years work experience and if yes which one should likely be the primary Noc?

The Reference Letter i collected from my ppa States as follow:
Start Date: August 28th 2018
End Date: July 23rd 2019.

I resumed in camp on the 28th of August 2018 and i passed out in July 23rd

Please will it suffice to one year work experience.

Only the airline has the final say. I suggest that you speak with your preferred airline

send a mail to both iom and qlife to compare dates. they would typically give dates 3 to 4 weeks away. If you want it fast go there and try the nigerian way

I assume you’ve included you nysc posting letter and other documents and statement to back up 1year posting. Just write a letter of explanation explaining how nysc works with 3weeks camp then off to ppa for work. This LOE with evidence should suffice hopefully.

I can get another one, but that will be misrepresentation,base on d former I submitted. I will just raise CSE and explain the truth which is actually what I submitted. I actually did hint it that I was posted to serve for one year(additional documents upload) and that we camped for 3weeks, thereafter I was posted to my PPA.

Since you’ve listed it in a previous application, i’d say include it under personal history just so it comes up plus you are not claiming points for it. An LOE would do if you prefer to explain the connection too.

I'm one of the directors of my Dad's medical services organizations and have stated this in a previous CIC application. However, I am also an employee in the Laboratory Unit of the Clinic subsidiary, and have been working for two years. Does my reference letter need to also state the director portion of my involvement?
The way my reference letter is drafted right now just takes care of the employee details in the required CIC format, without stating that I work for my dad or that I am a director in the company.

Please kindly advise, brothers and sisters. I find this really tricky and delicate, especially with the whole disclosure fiasco going on. The 5-year ban someone was hit with frightened me, so I'm trying to be extra careful.

If you are less than 28 years, declare everything from age 18 till date.
If above 28, declare the last 10yrs only.

The inatruction is to declare the last 10years or from 18th birthday till date depending on which is closer.

Besides we know that as kids, back in the day our parents would buy shares in our names, without our knowledge, thereby making you a shareholder in those companies.

Edit: August 28th to July 23rd is 11months. Consider using the dates on your NYSC certificate and see if your PPA would be willing to give you a new letter with the same date as your certificate

Tbh i’m not sure how to advice at this point so hopefully someone can help.

Thanks so much for responding. I am claiming points for the two years experience as a microbiologist in the laboratory department of the organization, plus a separate NYSC experience. It's difficult to say the exact duration for which i've been a director, as its been that way since the organization was registered when I was a kid.

Pls advise...I'm so stressed out about this

This journey started in February 2018. A friend who's in Canada introduced Express Entry to me, tried to convince me to give it a try. He sent me the NOC and WES links. I had always toyed with the idea of leaving Nigeria, but I wasn't really ready, so I didn't do anything immediately.
A few days later, I heard one of our colleagues would soon leave with her family to Canada. I said ehn, is it that serious? Then a close friend from Uni left. I started giving EE a serious thought then.

I was neither given an appointment letter neither was I paid through the hospital account, infact I was paid through the personal account of the person that interviewed me. EE is in the picture now, the hospital has refused to give me reference letter for the time i was spent with them. Please seniors what can I do for prove the time I spent with the hospital?
