The peninsula is approximately 70 to 80 km long, with an average width of 10 km. Lekki currently houses several Estates, gated residential developments, agricultural farmlands, areas allocated for a Free Trade Zone, with an airport, and a sea port under construction. The proposed land-use master plan for the Lekki envisages the Peninsula as a "Blue-Green Environment City", expected to accommodate well over 3.4 million residential population and an additional non-residential population of at least 1.9 million.

Lekki Can be compared with nairoslum as a whole . They are so any real estate project going on there.. Investors are dying to own a spot there....

The Lekki I checked around Alaro city is a forest - of magrooves. Nairobi Metro is expanding - which is one it only city in Africa that is expanding with Asian cities. Nigeria after oil crash - is just getting by- you have no money to build anything serious.

Only poorly rank by one ranker - that also curiously rank Nigeria highly - the rest of ranking - highly rank kenya universities. Kenya university research output are only second to South Africa.

It will..I expect by 2023 we will be 150-160.Now that we have done census we are due for another rebasing. Anyway refreshing read by that guy.What we need is huge investment in infrastructure esp in roads, rails and cheaper electricity...we need to ship Turkana oil via old mgr train from Eldoret..that should fix our export problems...while we build lapset oil pipeline.We also need to fix insecurity in those frontier counties so mining companies can move there for exploration.We can then urbanize and industrialise...
