surgical:Welcome to Nigeria where even dogs reason properly than some human being. Tinubu and Co knows Buhari very well but they wanted the federal power by all means therefore they have to ride on the back of Buhari who have massive followers of illiterate and unexposed northerners. Had the people down South here most especially the South West reason properly and que behind Jonathan we would have avoided this mistake but No they all wanted to remove Jonathan and enthrone their perceived Messiah. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Gentlewarrior1:It is imperative to state that No Matter how useless a 'leader' is, there will always be people who agree with him/her . Our message should be geared towards enlightening members of the public on the need to support and vote for people with track records...not because of tribe, ethnicity or religion. But it is hard. Democracy is best practiced when the people have the ability to think for themselves. Sadly, Nigerians are not there yet...and may never. 2 Likes |

You may have to start all over again. Your degree in Nigeria is not fully recognised in Canada. You will be lucky if you graduated from one of the well recognised universities in Nigeria e.g U.I. In that circumstance, you will have to take the deficient courses lacking in your transcrip to make it compliant with Canadian standard. This may take you years. Your problem will start with English Language Test. Depending on the threshold set for you. If the require clb 8 or 9, then you a gonna. You may have start your university programme all over if you can't satisfy the requirements. However, such situation will not be a problem because there are several facilities on ground to make schooling convinient. But no time for laziness. The serious ones will not regret it. 7 Likes |

If you didn't graduate from a top Canadian or American law school and have good connections forget about practising law in both countries.Except you want to be a charge and bail lawyer. |

surgical: While am not holding brief for Buhari, nor am I an ardent supporter, yet I need to correct your historical narration because I was old enough at the time to recount what really happened. The queue for essential commodities at the time was not especially due to Buhari's policies inflicting hunger on the people, but the people were already impoverished under Shagari and it was no longer easy or cheap to purchase food items like milk, vegetable oil, sugar, rice etc. Buhari, therefore, ordered that provision of these food items, most of which were hoarded in warehouses, should be distributed to the people. He essentially continued in Shagari's policies of austerity measures, reducing importation of food items etc and refused to devalue the Naira. He, however, sought to make up for the hardship the people were facing by distributing food to people who otherwise wouldn't have had access to it. 1 Like |

Realbarc: Well What I'm sure of Is that these countries will continue to fish out our best brains through all manners of tricks and schemes While leaving the already useless and condemned country to slip further into its uselessness Like I keep saying in this forum and elsewhere With the way the flow is going Nigeria will be populated mostly by agberos; thugs; cultists and economic deadweight in 10 years time, which will further push this useless country down the abyss A country that revered Mc Oluomo and Yahoo boys is already down that path 3 Likes |

CarlsJaz567:it was his policies aggravated the situation and he did not distribute anything to anybody,he just use his WAI to ensure people queue orderly for the products The truth is that he can never change he is as he was over 30years .if it is not shagari causing problems for him,it is Jonathan But the fact speaks for itself 2 Likes |

surgical: Absolute hogwash! Nonsense and senseless anti-Buhari narrative (from the East I bet!) Anybody who says Babangida came to the rescue is either MAD or an irredeemable ignoramus. You term them "essential commodities" yet you cannot (to this day) produce them? The Shagari regime had already stolen all the available dollars so what exactly did the expect the Buhari regime to pay for the imports? The banks in Europe refused to accept letter of credit from the Nigerian central bank yet some Nigerian fools expect the Buhari regime to continue with food importation without money. Oga please go and revise your history very well. Buhari did not introduce hunger to Nigeria, it is the Nigerian people that refuse to go back to the farm to grow enough food to cater for the population. At least 50% of the people in Lagos, Abuja and other major cities should be on the farm instead of wasting away in Lagos hungry, unemployed, poor and making babies. Keep blaming Buhari...... 2 Likes |
