E be like Nigerian postal services are getting better, received a call today from one guy that one of my expected percels is here with him right in from on my address. I was not around then, and I told someone to attend to him. He delivered it and I asked him anything more, he just requested for transport money and that's it. I was like told the person to open it and confirm what's inside before he left and he told me. Then I started wondering why can't they improve on their home delivery just like DHL or is it the fear of crooked ones among them that can disappear with something more valuable than being delivered? But if it's new method, then that's good for them, but I know some crooked post office will not even call talkess of doing home delivery.

I'm glad his reputation preside him. He is part of the few Nigerians that are still very much faithful.
Thank you man, I really love appreciate it plus the phone is awesome.

Flashing a global ROM to a chinese version, will one stil retain the 6gb Ram (had an issue with my infinix note 3pro and went to Calrcare for a downgrade. They were hesitant at first when I explained the bugs in the os 7 update released they tried different os versions on my phone to disprove me, but I still won. They compiled all my observations and sent to their China counters which the improved on the note 4, but neglected a release to correct the bugs in note 3. Among the os tested on my phone... My phone is a pro but with 2gb Ram, as against the conventional one with 3gb RAM. But among the os tested on it, is a 3gb RAM and that is stil what is on my phone til date. But if you close all apps, 1gb RAM is eaten by some unknown forces.... You see 2gb RAM free without opening anything.) so back to the question sir... Flashing say a Global ROM or European ROM to a Chinese version, will it stil retain its 6GB?
Understandable that Chinese version is cheaper to acquire and had more RAM, what are the advantages of Chinese ROM pls?

Your phone still sees the ram installed, I use a CN Version of RN 5 with 4GB ram.

But at the bolded, you were wrong.

How?
Wether you have apps running or not the operating system must use part of your installed system memory (RAM) meaning if my phone has 4Gb of RAM installed, I can never have 4Gb ram available to me even when am not running any apps because the OS is running in the background and it uses that same RAM to keep your network, clock, sensors and other important thing running.

That is why when you clear all apps you we see something like for instance in my case 2.4Gb/2.6Gb of Ram available of 4GB.

This is the same in all electronic devices that makes use of RAM be it smartphone or PCs.

Nice one bro. The kind of love, willingness to help and share information on this thread is top notch. If we can demonstrate half of it in this country Nigeria will be better.

Please bro kindly comment on the sound quality of the Redmi Airdot and how much did the whole package(Note 7 and Redmi) come for?

I have an item that didn't arrive after 37days, in fact it didn't depart country of origin it was busy roaming the streets of China. I opened a dispute and this was the sellers proposal. Should I accept or reject it?

Why open dispute on after 37 days?

Is the item not trackable?

it is trackable. I opened dispute because it was returned to the seller.

That is one step that have already been done, you still need to install custom recovery, flash magisk and enable camera2api before you can install Gcam

Please can you guide us on how to do those process?

It was not returned. You should be less bothered by the wordings during the tracking provided the item is moving, most times the translation from mandarin to English can be misleading.
Follow the updates sequentially and you'll see the update states it is leaving Shenzhen for Guangzhou.

Even if you reject, the seller is not obligated to make any refund until it gets to 60 days or so, by which you must have received your item. Be patient.

Apologies, I dont too comprehend this.... I don't knw much abt RN5, tried to Google it though but seeing 4gb RAM for it ... I don't too get the bolded part... Pls can u use Xiaomi RN7 for illustration.... A Chinese version on Chinese ROM with 6/64gb, will it stil have 6gb Ram if European version is flashed into it?
Concerning the RAM management, I know what you mean, but with the 2gb, I usually have like 600mb used... But on 3gb ram, more than 1gb is gone. Infinix doesn't eat ram that much, that is why many infinix users are of the opinion Xiaomi RN7 has poor ram management

OK guys a user complained about how Mtn drains her data when she makes video calls. Then someone dropped this analogy part of me believed it another part of me was skeptical.

MedicH:
People are missing a lot on this data bundle consumption stuffs. No network provider offers you a longer lasting data bundle or something like that. The issue is with the way internet devices are advancing. You are on a video call with a person using a 13mp camera and you expect data consumption to be same as a camera of 1.3 mp. When I was using my Nokia 5200, 100mb costs 1k and lasts a whole month and u can't exhaust it. Back then internet is basically texts and pictures snapped with 0.3mp camera. Hardly is one picture snapped with phone camera more than 100kb in size. Fast forward to now, the internet has become so advanced that web pages have video players embedded all playing different graphics and pictures have become better from high resolution devices producing pictures of upto 2mb. 1 GB now lasts only 2 days for me as a result. Best you can do is to downgrade your connectivity broadband so that instead of using 4G which energises all the graphics scripts in webpages to be active you use 3G and consume less. With 5G network, 1Gb can't stay more than 24hrs.
