For those that still cant differentiate btwn Global Version, Global ROM & CN Version, the below images should help a bit

in an addendum to all that has been said earlier, CN Version(Hardware, fewer LTE bands) can come with CN ROM or Global ROM(Software, supports Google services+its multilingual)
while Global Version(Hardware, more LTE bands) comes with Global ROM (Software, supports Google services+its multilingual)

My question is dat, why sud i buy same device @77k+ bcoz 3bands were added to the CN Version dat goes for 59k+

Personally after the brick on some units of some CN RN5 on Global ROM while upgrading to Android 9, I don't advise a noob to buy a CN Version with Global ROM.

At least the CN Version of Redmi Note 7 and Note 5 had band 7.

If you don't plan on using either MTN, Smile or GLO 4G in most parts do go ahead. Instead I will advice you wait for Nigerian release, it is closer than you think.

Xiaomi Nigeria on Facebook already hinted at a global version launch in Nigeria. Hopefully, the price won't be a turn-off.

Forget that screenshot, some sellers just copy and paste phone specs from anywhere, Chinese versions always come with band 3, the only omission are bands 20 and 28. You'll be fine with Chinese version with Global rom as long as you don't plan to use SMILE.

It is not an omission. They started it with the CC SERIES. Even kimovil that added it initially have removed bands 7, 8 and 20 from the Chinese versions of the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro.
