U have to be visible before a sponsor will come calling na. Not being on TV takes the gloss away and makes the league way less attractive. The league should at least be on television before anyone will bring some serious money to the table.
True. But fortunately this case is not a cart and horse issue. One can come before the other

Honestly he should've passed. Las Las Na the same decision making we dey talk about.
A similar scenario played out at the 2010 WC against Argentina. We would've drawn the game but glory hunting spoil everything.

I don't understand why Genk bought both Odey and Onuachu.
Seems like a waste of money.

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has given three reasons why he may decide not to continue coaching the national team when he comes off contract in 2020.

The German football tactician has complained that he is not respected, promises made by the Nigeria Football Federation are not kept and there are organizational problems.

It will be recalled that Nigerian Federation supremo Amaju Pinnick promised to send Rohr to Germany on a refresher course with Bayern Munich after the Super Eagles exited the Africa Cup of Nations but that obligation has not been fulfilled.

When asked by Mannheimer Morgen if he was interested in renewing his contract, Rohr stated : ''Yes and no. On the one hand, we have built a good team, the youngest on average in Africa.

''On the other hand, there are many things that make daily work difficult: lack of respect, organizational problems, promises are not kept. We will see how it goes on''.

The former Bayern Munich defender confirmed that he received offers from four countries namely Morocco, Cameroon, Mali and Congo after the Africa Cup of Nations but opted to see out his contract with the Nigerian Federation.

Rohr added : ''Yes. But I love this team and I really wanted to fulfill my contract''.

Rohr's next official assignment is taking the Super Eagles to Singapore for an international friendly with five-time world champions Brazil on October 13.

I only have interest in Tammy if he is an SE hopeful. Since he don post us till next year I concluded that his future lies with England because he will definitely be cap-tied before then. So there isn’t any point talking about him here. However we still hear about Messi, Suarez and other players who don’t really have biz here, on this thread. So who am I to say...?

The next big thing is for Pinnick to sack all these NFF' top officials'

But I know he's spineless to do it

not back to business anywhere, we will find someone else to take the business of the team to a greater heights

If rorh goes no p,we wish his well... The "KOC" Frontline are not going with him nor is any of the players, infact a better coach would be called, no time

You think anyone else would tolerate half the nonsense going on in the glass house? It's not even that the pay is worth it

Rohr is a seasoned African football veteran and his love for his young team is why he's tolerating this NFF nonsense

If you know the kind of nonsense Rohr deals with, you will understand that if he leaves, a lot of rubbish will resume. Especially if we replace him with a local coach.

What Dennerby left for is child's play compared to what Rohr has to deal with.

yeah I know the country we live in, but the SE is a National Pride, believe me no Top nff official or whatever would like to try nonsense, when ogun can still strike down people...

Besides na "where you dey work, you go chop and see rubbish" any coach coming to work in Africa and Nigeria in particular better be informed on how things roll.... You can't feign ignorance now, it's your job, both the pecks and undesirable...

I for one would not take it lightly if things starting to go wrong in the SE... I can't be supporting Man united and another Nonsense at the same time...

Nobody, local or international would be allowed to invite someone from Latvia anymore... We Don pass such level

Infact it's not about playing in the top 5 leagues anymore, you must be commanding a starting shirt before you get a look in....

Will he meet some top people who wants to get their way? Off course... He gets paid Millions per month, that's part of his Job, so his headache...

But if you are telling me someone will invite one boy from Estonia and not call Samuel kalu in Bordeaux or chukwueze, then I'm afraid that person is still a learner..
