Hian, wetin Nigeria do you? I have told you several times to keep praying for Nigeria, prayers will provide electricity, good roads, health-care, reduce unemployment, reduce prices of foods in the market and prayers will make Nigeria like the US, join the Gowon pray squad, get on your knees and pray for Nigeria, pray for Buhari and APC, cheers grin
Nna ehn.

The thing tire me.

I recently had an argument with some members of my church including the pastor that "only prayers" will not take Nigeria any where.

Their answers to my questions had me questioning my faith.

It was nothing short of silly.

I had to prevent myself from insulting them.

Na so I be dey strongly believe too. Just that this una Bubu wey una give us no dey make am look so.... It is only by God and individual effort that the hope lies now, not on the government as led by that man you guys "voted twice, TWICE" according to and as emphasized by @Ugosample.

Buhari na dream killer, while dumbly allowing/committing the greatest heist and rape of our collective patrimony with his gang! I hope you know the failings of our government is adding more to the stringent hurdles Nigerians have to face to procure these visas? How person for do if to say we never first bam? I have several well doing friends and colleagues that got done with Naija and Buhari and have taken a bow off the Nigeria stage to the US and Canada legally and illegally so to speak, people with brains oh, additions to any society they will ever find themselves, another twist to brain drain surely. You remember what the liliputian Ngige said to and about our doctors previous year, who does that?

My better half and I have good jobs in the Nigeria context, both Canada and America citizen kids (except for one), they already have an edge no doubt, the major reason I'm less bothered and not willing or thinking to exit this stage. But for others, they are mostly doing it for their kids, not necessarily because of an all out willingness. A bank manager friend of mine when I probed why he gave up and exited did say being in that sector all he was seeing was bleakness and doom that the general public may not see, and he doesn't want to regret not taking his children out of it while he had clear cut opportunities to do so. I'm talking of people leaving with several tens (almost hundreds in some cases) of thousands of USD to booth with and as shock absolvers to whatever the new system will throw at them initially.

MAY NIGERIA BE GREAT!

You know we've been moving since 80's especially mid 90's and early 2000''s so people moving no be today, I don't get this Buhari blame (The LA 88 boys, the Drug Mule, Human Trafficker) Governors, Rep, LG Chairman not performing is not Buhari's fault.
As for not seeing any future in this country, I will remind you very soon about this certain conversation.

Please so I see this travel together question . My hubby and I have both being to the US twice each but not together, but we have travelled together to other destinations like Dubai , Tanzania & Côte d'Ivoire.

Is this question specific to US or generally if we have travelled together?

Hello all

I need your help
Am a regular traveller too but it seems it’s my turn to need help now
I am due for an interview in November
Me and my wife are due booked.
The November was the earliest date I could get even though I paid the visa fees in July.
However my passport will expire in March and I am due to travel to Chicago in December.
Will it not be an automatic denial giving the 6 month validity rule.
Do i need to get a new passport in which I will do the interview all over again.
I will need to pay another visa fee and wait for another 6months l

This will be my fifth US visa.i have travelled regularly to the us in the past 8 years.
I have also travelled to all continents(Saudi,India,GERMANY,Turkey,Brazil,Egypt,South Africa,Great Britain etc)and lived abroad before.
Kindly advice based on experience and anecdotes

I wanna ask.....

Do you think your ranting everywhere will make things better or cause more damages?

Do you think Nigeria itself as a country have problem or you people ”Nigerians” is the problem of the country...... The country that is blessed with natural resources!

Some Nigerians abroad has to be blamed also..... Those countries shutting their doors, do you think is because of what's happening in Nigeria or overstayer ?

I definitely know what's happening in Nigeria and talking down of the country does nothing......
Nigerian leaders are corrupt but almost 70% of the citizens are also criminally minded....
Put something on the table, what do you have to offer.....
Nothing?
Ranting?

Nobody is holding anybody down.
If you have the opportunity to travel abroad, pls go.
Americans also travel abroad if they had a better offer.

To me Nigeria is not the problem, blame yourself ”Nigerians”

for the first time

I have to say that most most of what you typed up there made some sense

Nigerians being the problem of Nigeria

Absolutely in many ramifications, one of which was to vote a brain dead cunt as president TWICE and still defend him despite his foolishness

And yes, Nigerians are also to blame as to why the Nigerian passport is now am object of disdain
We are suffering from the consequence today.

that's true

Yes, Nigerians are still getting US visas approved.

One just has to really prove beyond any reasonable doubts to the VO that you'll use the visa as intended.

US embassy still issues visas. If your plans to run away, you better don't go close to the embassy. Find something doing in Nigeria and God will bless it. Two persons I know got holiday visa last week. All genuine travellers. They said lots of people applied ND lots were rejected too. A lot could not defend their applications. If you think they don't do a Lil research before your interview. You better think again. So next time when you step up the counter with your lies, the only person being fooled is you. Stop wasting your money. Stay in Nigeria and build.

Apply with your passport and renew before you travel, you have an impressive travel history.

You na my guy sha.... Dunno how this Buhari support thing works though, it turns our best peeps into something unexplainable, “turningoninown” things. Will you Seye handle Nigeria in this manner if you got close to the saddle? You’d do better!

Well, will avoid discussing this here and get looking into the Politics Section of NL pretty soon. Why are Nigerians running out of motherland? Why are we getting turned down at Embassies even more? Fighting "kwaraption" things, abi? You got a dinosaur and a disaster for a president bruv, rudderlessness! Every wise country fears us, we aren't anything near stable politically and economically, we are only pretenders to the throne....

Good evening house,

After booking an appointment, i discovered that i made a mistake in my first name with just a letter, but the name on DS169 form is correct.

I have submited online query form from the appointment feedback, have sent an email to mail to the support, and i was told that i should just continue with the Ds160 form.

Please help, i hope i won't be turned back on my interview day or tag as misrepresentation...

Any advice or possible solution will be appreciated.

So many of them. The problem is that everyone including you Is fixated on traveling out to make it. There's money to be made in this country. Legitimate money. You live well a d just travel for holidays. It all depends on your mindset. Some still travelled and didn't make it. You are still young, you better start thinking of what to do and not depend on the paper filed for you. Policy might change at any time.

The catch all phrase for most of these jobs is "petty trading". In reality, a vast majority of Nigerians survive on small scale/petty trading, small scale manufacturing and farming. The government and private sector employs a smaller percentage of Nigerians. I recall seeing some statistics that put Nigeria's labor force at about 60 million with 70 percent involved in agriculture as an ocupation. But don't look down on these jobs. Many raise families and educate their kids through university level on these jobs.

In my opinion, the most shocking thing about the last election is the ditribution of votes amongst the parties, and I have said this here before. How on Gods green earth did APC and PDP win 99% of the vote after all they have put us through in the preceeding 19-20 years? Res Ipsa Loquitor!

This is the second time you're going to mention this highlighted statement.

Are you the father of 4 and a youth corper that is serving?

Either way, having more kids than you can financially afford to sustain and support in this very harsh Nigeria Economy is very unwise of such a person.

Now as per the other excuses the you listed there concerning the un-fair practices of opportunities being practices in Nigeria well unfortunately that is the evil beast of Nigerians that only the strong and fearless can overcome.
