Most likely, I said "Use a valid card with little or no money inside." Why will you not show up? It's called a booking. Meaning they'll hold room down for you and tell other customers that there's no space. If you booked a place with free cancellation, you can cancel.

Nobody will be verifying your hotel reservation, all they need to see is the booking confirmation...

If I ever do agent work...I will also run accommodation too...get people in...do visa for them...they pay me for my accommodation which should be the normal bedspace thing...them go dey with me...and I will tell them clearly they will drop and particular amount as collateral for a visa change...if they won't guarantee me a visa change when their visa expires..make them go....so if they get a job, they get their collateral back and move on...if they don't...they either opt for a visa change or we use the money for flight ticket back to their fathers house...
