We all know that some will abuse the visa
.but we should not give the impression that WE AS NIGERIANS endorse such behaviours
It is because of this, that Nigerians find it difficult to get visas

If you filled the form truthfully, you don't need any information there except you want to make changes. I don't think you can have access to that page anymore once you've submitted it.

Did you legally legalize your stay now? Has your family been able to join you or visit you since you travelled?
You see my greatest challenge in your story is that you got a visitors visa and got there REFUSED to come back. This is why Nigerians are having a tough time getting their visas approved. This is so wrong.

Let's learn to do the right thing. I'm also a bit skeptical about the work that you claim you do. For an illegal resident, that's quite a reach!!

Pls I have once applied for an America visa but I was denied.the invitation letter was from my uncle who has lived there for over 25yrs,he is a lecturer in one of the colleges in texas.i spoke to him about my intentions to travel abroad the last time he visited us,so he agreed he was going to invite me.though we bare the same surname but for one or two reasons I was denied at the embassy.but I am thinking of reapplying with the influence of his son which is my cousin........he is a 3star general or so in the U.S army and we also share the same surname.....my point is would the embassy take my cousins position in the government into consideration by granting me a visa .....because I keep on hearing from locals that if a government official invites someone,there is a great chance of the person been granted a visa.....Incase you wanna know why I didn't request the letter from my 'auwa' cousin initially,we didn't have a relationship until recently.
Though after my 1st denial at the embassy,my plan was to tour Europe before I try America again,which could take me 2yrs to achieve and it's quite a long period for me to bear in this country,but lately it just seem as if I could use my cousin's influence in the American government, instead of going through the stress of travelling to Europe b4 reapplying for America again

Was listening to a radio program where they ask people to call in that If they see a job of 80k and a visa which one will they go for.

Just imagine a lot rejected the job offer and go for visa. A man said a job he will take and later be sacked. Which is true.

Seriously...do you know the reason why they don't have opportunity of getting that visa is this same attitude of yours. That is why it is difficult in the first instance to get visa. So, if common south Africa deny Nigerians visa tommorrow you will start shouting xenophobia yet they gave you visa, you abused it and still defend the abuse on social media. Of course you are in America now but don't complain when your family member want to pay a visit and they deny them and then you start shouting that they are just collecting visa money without giving the visa
