You can go ahead with ur study permit application as it is stated on the Canadian webiste that an applicant can have both EE and study permit running simultaneously, but the truth be told, if an VO sees that a student permit applicant also have an EE profile then that obviously signals a wrong impression to the VO that such applicnat does not have any intention of coming back to his home country, resulting toa refusal.. But like I said, u can go ahead with ur study permit application.. What did not work for one may work for you, goodluck.. Peace

Thanks @ Makano. I really appreciate

Hi guys, I’ve been a silent reader for a while now.. here’s my own case
I applied July 14
And since I had been to Canada before I didn’t need biometrics
Then. September 2 they got back to me and asked for a new passport since my old one was expiring in February 2020 and then they asked for another bank statement Cos the one submitted only had introduction letter but no bank stamp.

I submitted the two required documents September 9 and till today I haven’t heard from them.
Please what can I do

Hope u have all your school fees available cos MBA in the sch is research based on all the courses and class attendance is compulsory (any student that misses 8 hrs lectures during the 2 yrs program will be reported to immigration) thereby making work and study difficult. But u can still work for 20 hrs per week but the pay can only cater for living expenses and not sch fees

Thanks for the info, cheers.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Nobody: 1:07pm On Oct 12, 2019
1. You have to be patient till you get a message from VFS to pick up ur passport, might take weeks, meanwhile keep tracking ur passport on their site. I will advise you wait for 2weeks you'll definitely hear from them.
2. Concerning the police report, do u have a photocopy since you claim u submitted the original? If yes you can submit the photocopy for ur next application if it hasn't exceeded the 3 months validity.
Good luck.

Your colleague can transfer the money to you. However you need to briefly explain in your letter of explanation (LOE), the origin of the sudden lump sum deposit into your account as at the time of Application submission. If your friend will be sponsoring your education, a letter of financial support from him would suffice to further buttress the source of this funds.

There is a huge progress in your application. Following this, I would suggest you raise a CSE to the Kenya, Nairobi Immigration Office explaining to them that you've provided the documents they requested for on the DD/MM/YYYY and since then there haven't been any staggering response from their office as well as clearly stating that your application has exceeded the estimated processing times for Nigerian Applicants and further requesting that they should expedite the processing of your VISA. Lastly, thank them for the time devoted to the processing of your application.

CONTACT : The Kenya (Nairobi) Immigration department via this email: nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca

The subject of the mail should bear APPLICATION UPDATE, along side the applicant's FULL NAME, UCI NUMBER, APPLICATION NUMBER AND DATE OF BIRTH.

Also send your enquiry via THE NAIROBI WEB FORM.

All the best

You've got a great CGPA that can secure you a full funded scholarship in Canada. Have you tried checking schools like Simon Fraser University, University of Waterloo, University of Ottawa, Ontario Technical University for their master's in Elect/Elect Engineering. These schools offer outstanding scholarship awards to international students, you might want to check them out.

All the best

Wat is the supervisor's response?
Is 4.66 your msc Cgpa?

Oh yes I read through, there is an option for a direct entry into their PhD program. The Professor I contacted encouraged me to apply.

Then, start writing your research statement..
Mind you since you are applying for direct entry into PhD with your BSc, your research statement must merit the position..

You don't need to send anything to WES. Usask doesn't need all that.
