I feel your pain dear, I was in state of killing myself when I encountered This man called Kingsley Ogbodo, he is HIV positive and sharing it with all means. I wish people can start exposing anyone who purposely infected others.

Did Kingsley infect you?

If its been six months already that you've met this said sex worker and you've not indulge in any sexual activity since elther, do go to a lab and get tested. Whatever the result is, that is your status.

No just about two weeks now is six months before meeting her
There was definitely a skin to skin contact with you and the said woman while you were withdrawing yourself. You'll definitely need to go for a test at 1month, 8weeks and 12weeks respectively.

Okay not trying to advice people to be care free but HIV is not as infectious as many people portray it. Most of you doing only HIV test after unprotected sex I advice you get screened for HepatitisB and C, it is way more infectious and may take years before any symptom manifest. The chances of been infected when you use vagina fluid on your palm to touch the penis without any cut is almost zero. The chances of been infected from a BJ when the person and you don't have open sores is almost zero too. You need to swallow up to 2 cups of HIV infected person saliva to get infected. The highest risk is still unprotected vagina penetration sex followed by mother to unborn child when the woman doesn't know her status and she is not on treatment.

you used condom for the sex and it only got stuck when you were pulling out, not that it got broken and you continue to have sex unknown to you. You have nothing to worry, just go for a routine HIV test after 7 weeks to allay your fears if not, you are not at risk.

i checked university of Benin teaching hospital for this they didn’t have it. It’s not so common you know
UBTH has ELISA in Chempath laboratory, that's what they use to screen blood donors. But routine HIV test is done in GPC using rapid test strip. You can go to blood bank that you want to donate blood, they will take your blood sample for screening and within some hours the result will be out. They won't give you the result but if you are okay, you will be told you are fit to donate then you can say you want to go buy food to eat first either you come back to donate to save a patient or if you don't want you can go home from there

Thanks for your wonderful advice one love bro I’m having my count down already
While at it, please do not get depressed or develop any kind of anxiety.. I just don't want to say it outright but your chances of getting infected the way you explained it are quite slim. Only a test will fulfill all righteousness that's why I implored you to go for the test.. But I believe you'll turn out negative.

If HIV was that easy to contract, every sexually active human on earth will be positive.

Cheers!

Man you are so so bad. Lol. But I was thinking Elisa takes days before the result comes out. And for those that can’t wait 6months after 3months Mark. Can they use this test kit. Or even when done they still have to wait for the said six months + I am guessing you are a student of Uniben.

the blood bank there said they don’t handle anything on test. That I should go to the GD. And Elisa takes longer than a day for result to come out. And I feel if it’s beyond 3months, won’t it work same as the rapid since they both check for anti bodies.

I don't want to argue, I have given the procedure to take. For blood donors result comes out same day and they are not screened with rapid test kits again, It has been stopped.

Blood Bank only handles screening for potential blood donors as I stated earlier.

Which other symptoms do you perceive. I have that swollen stuff at my groin too. But went away within a week. Then I felt malaria, sore throat, muscle pain, fever and whitish tongue. Please what months or weeks after exposure did you test positive
I had this whitish tongue ish last year, went for test twice 10weeks after exposure and it came out negative.
Treated the whitish tongue with warm salt solution n it went away.. Now the whitish stuff is back on my tongue.

I did my first test today after my exposure 3 weeks ago, and it came out negative.

Patiently waiting for 6months.

I notice the 6months window period is peculiar with Africa as most western countries adopts the 3months window period.

But I thought HIV is not transmitted through saliva ?

HIV lives in d blood cells for someone that looks healthy but positive. As u lick the this thing she may have sores there exposing some tiny blood cells and u may have sores in ur mouth without knowing. Its risky.

For herpes simplex, the chances are greater as the virus lives in the vaginal fluid. If u put mouth, the virus will enter
