someone who doesn't know that terrain will think all section of the above embolden is true. From awka to enugu thru the express is a nightmare. But work is going on there close to enugu though slow. From onitsha to umunya is smooth. Work completed on one lane. From umunya to awka is not that bad. From awka to enugu, you can take the old road. The traffic on that old road by heavy duty vehicle is deteriorating the state of that road. I ply this route almost every weekend.
Nb: seems it's been long you took this route. That old road is no longer smooth and clean
