economy builders, assistant to the poor, destiny changers welldone I beg why are your women prostituting our streets wetin them they find there if their men are destiny changers? If you ever recieved a message like that don't look far it's your fellow nigerian scammer or love-vendor. Who is more desperate than nigerians I beg make we hear word

Lmao keep acting a fool. I live in ghana for now and have a lot of your people as charity cases who are being taken care of from my pocket, A lot of your girls who are single mothers even at age 13 due to your ridiculous and nonsensical village festivals in every region are being taken care of by me as we buy clothes, shoes, food and pay for schooling for several of them.

This is the harsh reality in Ghana even among the middle aged women in ghana who are ready to sleep with much younger nigerians simply because they want some of our generosity. I have had my fair share of sexual offers which i rejected from your women so i know.

Prostitution is the order of the day among your Ghanaians and right now male prostitution is also becoming a thing due to the influx of whites in Ghana. Now you have Ghanaian gays openly advertising their services by codedly calling themselves TOPS and BOTTOMS so much so they are now invading even the JHS and SHS schools around.

Your diction and comprehension says it all.
Do they make use of generators in the United States? Do you know the cost of utilities and housing in the United States? Are there homeless Americans? Do you know the cost of higher education in the United States? Do you know that some teenagers join the United States Army not voluntarily but because they cannot afford the cost of higher education? Do you know the cost of the United States health insurance? You are just as clueless as the Ghanaians!
I just wish people like you are born in South Sudan or Somalia. Ungrateful idiots!
Lastly, tell me the countries you have been to?

Bros, I know your type. Arguing with you is a complete waste of time. You can't really make points without insulting someone directly or indirectly. I know your type. May your life turn around and become like Nigeria.. If u can comfortably say amen to this prayer, that is perfect. I dislike hypocrites. Comparing Nigeria with USA is total rubbish. No country is perfect. There is no country without homeless people. There is no country without poor people. The purchasing power of an average American can not be compared to that of an average Nigeria. So an average American can comfortably pay for utilities services made available. If you wish Nigerians to pay as high as Americans, kindly ensure that their purchasing power is high and the utility services are available. I know your type. I know u very well. If Americans don't use generating sets? Very foolish question. Americans use it like Nigerians abi. Like enter nigerian cities and u will hear sound of generating sets knocking off your ear. How can someone be such a hypocrite? Your type is the reason Nigeria has not developed. You are the type who will say 'no hunger in Nigeria'. First world countries have high cost of living because they have higher purchasing power, available utility services that are functional and responsible govt. Replicate these things here and watch Nigerians also pay high for utility services. Na person wey Dey earn less than 100$ per month go pay high for services abi? Some of u here just try to sound woke but are completely asleep and below average in reasoning. U want a country with minimum wage less than 100$ per month to pay as much as Americans pay for education and utilities. U funny die. I end this discussion here. Even if u reply me, I won't reply you. Just accept both privately and publicly here that your life will turn around like Nigeria. Amen.

You clearly lack a single iota of understanding in your Banku befuddled brain.

Read what i wrote again and tell me where i said i take care of festivals. Are you also an illiterate?

Education in GOVERNMENT schools are free BUT the books are not free are they? Are private schools free too? You have an epidermic of teenage pregnancies in ghana that it now looking like a family tradition. Nobody frowns at it any longer. It is now like an inheritance.

From Asesewa to Takoradi the story is the same. 2 months after every festival, you begin to see mass cases of teenage pregnancies in those regions because they all throw themselves so cheaply at visitors from Accra who attend such festivals.

You can lie to those who do not live in Ghana or who have not been here but not to someone like me who has been here for a good while and who meets with these cases on a daily basis.

I think i am done with you and your silliness. Keep basking in your lies

Statistics in Ghana is alarming as far as teenage pregnancy is concerned. In 2015 only, there were more than 10000 early pregnancies recorded not to mention the cases that never get reported. This means that the numbers could be much higher. In 2014, the reports from health survey showed that of all births recorded, 30% were adolescents. In fact the survey further revealed that 14% of all women bearing children are aged 15 to 19 putting them in the teenage child bearing bracket. GHANA: Unbelievable- Central region teenage pregnancy remains high as girls now exchange sex for fish

The issue of the Central Region teenage pregnancy has since remained worrisome, with the latest discovery being that girls now exchange sex for fish which they sell to make a living.

According to a report by Graphic.com, some teenagers in the Central region are bartering sex for fish in some fishing communities in the region, a practice that is drastically watering down and affecting the ongoing fight against teenage pregnancy.

During a forum on teenage pregnancy in Cape Coast on Wednesday, contributors revealed that teenagers are doing all sorts of unbelievable things including exchanging sex for fish from fishermen to sell to augment family incomes and make ends meet.

The forum which was organized by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) with support from the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) to empower queens in to help fight the scourge of teenage pregnancy in the region, observed that poverty levels are high in fishing and rural communities and needs urgent and workable solutions to help provide relief for the most vulnerable in these communities.

The District Director of Nursing Services for KEEA, Mrs Juliana Armah indicated that some of the teenagers are school drop outs from very poor or broken homes, adding that such young pregnant girls were usually anaemic and suffered complications during birth.

“Some give sex and take fish for their aged parents to sell to augment incomes,” she said. “Their children are also usually malnourished and they perpetuate the cycle of poverty,” she added ........Read the rest in the link below

I currently live in the central region and can say that this article is 100000% correct. Is this how a normal person behaves?

Exactly what we are doing now

but if you dont want to take heed, we may have to leave you t your own troubles
Petrol and diesel are cheaper in Ghana than in Burkina Faso

There are over 200 more filling stations on our burder with Burkina Faso than in Accra
So fuel smuggling was a lucrative business.
What did the Ghanaian government do?
It completely removed subsidizes and increase immigration officers checkpoints along the border and went ahead to close down alot of the filling stations along the border.
Placed trackers on all fuel takers that bunker fuel to filling stations in the country.
False equivalence. Nigeria is very different from Ghana. Our borders are way longer than Ghana's and so more difficult to man, besides most of the smuggling don't happen at the borders, there are hundreds if not thousands of bush paths and water ways smugglers use to smuggle into the country.

We have tried those policies you mentioned to no avail. I remember during IBB's time, a ban was placed on locating fuel stations close to the border.
Placing trackers on all petrol tankers sound ridiculous. Do you know how many petrol tankers are on our roads. Fuel tankers line the whole Oshodi express way from tin can ports to cele (a distance of more than 10km) queuing load fuel. Same on the other end from tin can to Carter bridge blocking the whole of Apapa. There are thousands of petrol tankers coming and leaving Apapa everyday.
Fuel consumption in Ghana is not up to 10% of what we consume in Nigeria.

Now the smugglers have move to smuggling fertilizers out of Ghana to Burkina Faso because the government of Ghana has hugely subsidized it.
THE Government in Ghana is catching them on a daily basis
How much fertiliser is smuggled from Ghana, I am sure it cannot be more than a few tens or at worst hundreds of tons, you want to compare it to the Millions of litres of petrol smuggled from Nigeria daily? How much subsidy do the government pay for fertiliser? Can it be compared to the N3 trillion Jonathan paid during his time, or the nearly N500 billion budgeted for next year?

On the border with Togo, Nigerians are smuggling textiles into Ghana daily
One of the difficult things Ghana has been fighting

so Nigeria has to learn than to close it border

Nigerians smuggling textiles into Ghana? That's news to me. Where are they getting the textiles from, as our textile mills are not working. Are you insinuating they import the textiles through our ports and then smuggle it all the way to Ghana through Benin republic and Togo?

Help yourself by refusing to lie to yourself. There is a very serious teenage pregnancy epidermic currently happening in Ghana and its mostly HUNGER related as parents are legalizing prostitution even among their adolescents just so they can afford to feed.

For a country of just 28m people i am shocked you are still under UNICEF aid and struggling with the epidermic of teenage pregnancies caused by POVERTY AND HUNGER.

The link directly below is your Ashanti region teenage pregnancy epidermic article. A SHOCKING 15000 COMBINED TOTAL OF TEENAGE PREGNANCIES AND DELIVERIES IN JUST 6 MONTHS ALONE IN YOUR ASHANTI REGION AND YOU STILL BELIEVE YOU DO NOT REVEL IN PROSTITUTION?

https://www.pulse.com.gh/ece-frontpage/in-ashanti-region-8873-teen-pregnancies-recorded-between-january-and-june-this-year/ttjn5ly

Here is an extract

Between January and June 2018, a total of 8,873 teenage pregnancy cases were recorded at various health facilities in the region.
Teenage pregnancy cases have been rampant in the Ashanti region after a total of 8,873 cases were recorded within the first six months of the year.
Between January and June 2018, a whopping number of teen pregnancies were recorded at various health facilities in the region.

In that same period, six thousand, two hundred and sixty-nine (6,269) teenagers also delivered.

This was disclosed by the Regional Deputy Health Director in charge of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr. Akwasi Yeboah-Awudzi.

According to him, 192 of the teenagers who successfully delivered are under the age of 15.

OH Gracious lord jux when I thought l av settled this issue of supremacy by the enough facts n figures I av enumerated, then another "ignorant" nigerian springs up from nowhere to banter.. OK now let's do this analysis; England has a land mass of about 130279 Sq km with a population of about 55million inhabitants n Nigeria, land mass of approximately 923763 Sq km and a population of roughly 200 million inhabitants, yet Nigeria always go to the former cup-in-hand for aid else it will starve to death...So u see ur argument on the basis of land size does not hold water n is therefore declared null n void, in fact invalid... nxt time don't ever argue base on land mass.. if they are not, then why are you closing your border to trade from them which is against every ecowas protocol?

You have failed to tax transit goods
you dont blame other people for your failure
Should we break it down further for you?

We closed the border because we can...

The UK floated Brexit because they are the dominant partners in the Eiurozone...

Nigeria can rip up the so-called Ecowas protocol because we hold all the aces...

That ought to be obvious ..

Honestly, you guys need to cut out these senseless insults. We should be able to distinguish Intra-Africa Trade from illegal trade no matter which part of the border you are.

Think about the age of your leaders when they fought to get you political Independence and your own age right now.

Yet, economic Independence is beyond you. Why do you waste all the intellect, grace and strength you need grabbing one another's throats instead of sorting out the complications of open borders.

Your real enemies are foreigners dumping their goods and services on you to discourage local African production.

Who said Ghanaians are real humans? You lot are hypocrite, inferior and neverdowell set of humans in west africa!!! You can see the pull down syndrome everywhere in Ghana, particularly with Ashanti's who are fraudsters, robbers, land grabbers and prostitute who sell themselves real cheap...

This is the only point I agree with coming from a Nigerian like me. We've got to make ourselves competitive. Protectionism policy of the Buhari's administration will kill innovation which sparks development
You comment for its own sake...

Did you see the statistic that placed tiny Benin Republic in the top 10 of the highest exporters of rice globally?

It will amount to criminal oversight/negligence for any responsible government to see that damning picture and refuse to take a drastic action....

Buhari rarely gets it right but he is right on the money on this one.

same way you may be a scammer, kidnapper or an armed robber since thats the latest trend for lazy youths in your country. You mentioned those girls fall prey to foriegners oh yes foriegners like yourself it explains why you are taking care of some teenagers putting them through school and feeding them ofcourse if you get someones daughter pregnant thats the price to pay. Once your likes leave the country teenage pregnancy will decline

You should be ashamed as a woman to be talking this nonsense.

A country that has adolescent girls opening their legs shamelessly for fish is in dire straits. E never reach like that for Naija.

have you asked yourself why Nigerians choose to import rice through Benin Republic?

90% of those rice are smuggled into Nigeria. I served in Ilara-Yewa Ogun state/benin republic border

is that the answer to this simple question ? Should we just buy any rice simply because it is produced in Nigeria? If you produce a quality rice won't ppl buy it? The problem with Nigerian business men is simple they just jump into the business with the hope that government will force us to eat any substandard thing they choose to produce... rubbish
