[s]My brother my charity program here is my way of giving back to the communities. We embark on sensitization against these their numerous useless festivals here where they promote nothing but promiscuity and leave teenage pregnancies in their wake due to poverty. My farm here has many locals working there whom i pay. Many of these communities have been appreciative while others have shown hatred because i am Nigerian and also because their chiefs make money from these festivals and see me as someone who has come to stop that cash flow.

It was a widowed teacher who gave me that land for free for as long as i wanted. It was left to her by her late husband. She did it in appreciation for my impact in the life of her children.[/s]

What has Ghana achieved? You are obviously hardwired with stupidity. The last time we had a banter you asked me for my address in Ghana so you can fvck me up. Well here it is. I stay in Tantra Hill and own probably the largest farm in asesewa which is in Upper manya Krobo among other businesses . If you wish to locate me just go to asesewa and ask their chiefs about the Nigerian who was made a Chief in Akateng a year ago. I single handedly Graded the road leading to the "commercial river (Volta) in Akateng because my farm produce mostly gets transported out through that River and we are currently working on a commercial central market there.

Your people work for me and i pay them.

Left to you Ghanaians that access road would have been left as nasty as it has always been. My efforts to uplift that community where my farm is has earned me respect and honour because Nigerians are givers and hardworking Unlike you lazy bums who are always looking for who will do for you for free.

My name is Frank but your people fondly call me Frank Tetteh which is the name i am also called in Upper Manya.

Oya come and fvck me up. Ode!

Nigeria's purchasing power is over 1.2 trillion dollars for just 200 million people, take your comparison to those countries you mentioned because Nigeria alone can swallow you all in one fell swoop.
why don't you check the GDP ppp per capital rate ? you don't just factor in purchasing power alone.

That guy is simply being an idiot. Ghanaians are also neck deep in crime but they tend to cover themselves up so well because they are majorly a tourist country so want to protect their image before the outside world which isnt a bad thing. But why try to paint Nigerians as terrible people just so you can divert external interest from Nigeria to Ghana? How can they even hope to compete with Nigeria in anything?

Whenever i travel to my farm i go with police attachments and that is because the road between asesewa and Akateng is notorious for armed robberies being perpetrated by Ghanaians. Because of the Volta river in Akateng there is a lot of commercial activity there and people from all over converge there to buy fish, farm produce, Live Animals, etc and most of the people travel with cash.

Because of the volume of robberies that take place there, the police decided to station Police Barriers almost every 2km from Before asesewa all the way to Akateng.

People have been killed, Kidnapped, etc on that road by Ghanaians but you will never hear about it because they cover it up super fast. About 4 months ago the only big bank in asesewa had their bullion van robbed on same road by Ghanaians and the driver killed but you will never hear about it.

They simply want to paint Nigeria bad because outside Nigeria, the next best place for investment in the west african sub region is Ghana. If they can rubbish us well enough then that would be a plus for them in terms of focus by investors.

Use that info to get my validation

IN CASE YOU DO NOT KNOW WHERE ASESEWA OR AKATENG ARE, THEY ARE AFTER KOFORIDUA. AKATENG IS AFTER ASESEWA ON THE SAME MAJOR ROAD. AKATENG HOWEVER IS A DEAD END THAT TERMINATES AT THE VOLTA RIVER

The Nigeria Coconut Traders are accusing their Ghanaian counterparts of preventing them from fully accessing the Ghanaian coconut industry.

According to them, some Ghanaian coconut exporters together with a few Nigerians have formed a cartel to prevent new investors from contacting coconut producers and marketers in Ghana.

Currently, Ghana produces about 60 percent of the coconut consumed in Nigeria.

Secretary of the Lagos State Coconut Traders Association of Nigeria Hupatin Akpetunde who disclosed this in an interview with Citi Business News says the cartels use security forces and associations to prevent others from entering the market.

“The cartel is an issue. We realised that some segments of people are now trying to thwart our efforts of investing in the coconut market. The cartel is operated in such a manner that very few people want to control the market without allowing others. They do this through the use of security forces and associations.”

He believes with the high demand of coconut in Nigeria which has a population of about 200 million, Ghanaians can export more to that country if the market is made more accessible.

“Presently we have an Agricultural and Industrial revolution in Nigeria, and that has created a vacuum whereby we don’t have enough coconut to satisfy our market, hence we look at the neighboring West African countries and having tested Ghanaian coconut we have seen it as very rich. The quality of the food is satisfactory and the size is also acceptable in the Nigerian market.”

He says the situation is rather worrying and hinders trade within the region.

“The African economy will grow if we all invest and integrate ourselves into it.”

The traders who visited Ghana for the International Coconut Festival have therefore been meeting with their Ghanaian counterparts to discuss the issue.

This development comes at a time when Ghanaian traders are also complaining about the closure of Nigeria borders which has left millions of Ghanaian goods stuck in Benin.

The total annual production of coconut currently stands at approximately 229 million pieces of coconuts, equivalent to between 350,000 to 400,000 metric tonnes; majority of which is consumed domestically.

The Ghana Exports Promotion Authority has therefore announced plans to promote and expand the acreages for coconut cultivation to take advantage of the increasing demand on the international markets.

This is not in tandem with what we are talking about, these ones here are talking about how some Nigerians and Ghanaians are preventing them from the Ghanaian coconut industry.
So 60% of the coconut consumed in Nigeria is actually from Ghana and you guys go behaving as you don't want Nigeria's huge market? Buhari has really dealt with you guys this time, una go hear am

47 million Nigerians practise open defecation – UNICEF
80 million in dire need of improved toilet

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has said that no fewer than 47 million Nigerians still indulge in open defecation in the country.

Also, 33 million people in the country use unimproved toilet, while 90 percent of households use water that is contaminated.

Now, UNICEF further said, about 80 million Nigerians are in dire need of improved toilet as unsafe drinking water, open defecation and poor hygiene have remained major causes of under-5 death in the country.

This is coming on the heel of the newly released 2018 Nigeria Demographic Health Survey (NDHS,2018), which revealed that the number of under-5 children dying yearly have continued to increase in the last 5 years.

The latest NDHS document states that under-5 death increased from 128 deaths per 1,000 live births in the 5 years prior to the 2013 NDHS, to 132 deaths per 1,000 live births in the most recent 5-year period (about 1 million U-5 children die yearly).

Many of these needless deaths have been traced to diarrhoea and water borne disease. Latest findings from the Federal Ministry of Water Resources (FMWR) states that more than 100,000 children under 5 die each year due to diarrhoea, making Nigeria the second country with the highest Children’s death from diarrhea.

These deaths could however be reduced if there is an end to open defecation and practice of good hygiene, sanitation, UNICEF-Nigeria Communication Specialist, Geoffery Njoku, told journalists, during an EU-UNICEF sponsored media dialogue on sanitation tagged “CLEAN NIGERIA: USE THE TOILET”, which held yesterday at Tahir Hotel Kano, Kano state.

According to him, there’s a huge link between sanitation, open defecation and child survival, hence the need for all to join #The Clean Nigeria Campaign.

A breakdown of the deplorable situation of open defecation, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) situation in Nigeria, by WASH Specialist, UNICEF-Nigeria, Bioye Ogunjobi states that

“1 in 3 Nigerians does not have access to basic drinking water services. 90 percent of households use water that is contaminated.

The funny thing here is that Nigerians, ivorians source for coconuts from Ghana due to our high population demand so we can make creams from it which we ship back to Ghana to buy while all they do with their coconuts is roaming around busy markets with wheelbarrows of these coconuts looking for who would buy them for 1 to 2 cedi so they can cut it open and drink the water.

They hardly think about bigger business but are just content with that daily small small change they can eat with for that day.

If 50% of Ghanaians are worth $1 million and 10% of Nigerians are worth same, that means 14 million Ghanaians and 20 million Nigerians, which still has the bigger market? Remember I just used 50% for Ghana and 10% for Nigeria.

market size is something very diffrent, there is what we called valuable market , it makes more sense to deal with Switzerland ( 9 million population) than to deal with Nigeria (200 million populations) because of valuable market. the former understand and can buy luxury , the latter is poor and can't afford it . so here population becomes useless....
