vaxx2: The kind of lies you pander around makes me sick. Nigeria produces 10 times more shea butter than Ghana. Nigeria is indeed the largest producer. The only difference is that Ghana exports nearly all the shea butter it makes, while Nigeria only exports 5% of the shea butter it produces. Of course you have no choice than to export it all. When your population is not even up to that of Lagos state, who will use the product there? Nigeria can NEVER buy shea butter from Ghana. NEVER! 2 Likes |

vaxx2:Switzerland has a GDP nominal per capita of about $83,000 and Nigeria about $2,000. You should of course expect the Swiss market to be more attractive even with its small population unlike Ghana that is on the same level with Nigeria and even with a very smaller population than Nigeria, the Nigerian market would be more attractive. If each Nigerian and Ghanaian was told to buy a pair of flip flop and the company to supply them was to pick one of the two countries to supply, which do you think they'd first go for? 1 Like |

Area4Area:First GHANA GDP ppp per capital is slightly higher than Nigeria. this is a fact. An economy is only as productive as its people, so the level of social and human development is indicative of progress and future productivity. As a business men , i will also consider access to education, basic amenities, and healthcare. this will guranty my long time sales or investment . Nigeria may does better because of short-term advantages(The pay back method) because of that os what is current market size suggest but Ghana will fares better in long-term pillars such as business ease, social development, and most especially in good governance. Good reasons company in Nigeria are relocating to Ghana...... 1 Like 1 Share |

Oriyomin25:Ghanaians are very patriotic ,i give them that. But the truth is that they have a well structured custom that checks every goods coming into their country with almost zero tolerance to smuggling, but thats the government, the citizens are very poor, just be friendly to any of them ,their babianlah level no get part two. 1 Like |

stagger:You guys have a problem...... Nigerians coming into Ghana to buy sheer butter not becuse you don't have it in Nigeria but simply because you don't have the quality obtain in Ghana. There is a reason Ghana export more sheer butter than Nigeria and the simple answer is quality even Nigeria produce more yam per harvest than Ghana but Ghana still export more yam than Nigerian and. the simple answer is quality . Ghana is also one of the export of tuna fish in africa to Europe. All this are basically because of quality. 1 Like 1 Share |

vaxx2: Educate yourself The UN Development Programme (UNDP) estimates that an average of three million African women work directly or indirectly with shea butter. The top shea nut–producing countries are Nigeria, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin and Togo. Nigeria is the largest producer of Shea nuts (425,000MT) but contributes relatively little (45,000MT) to world exports Nigeria has the largest shea nut belt in the world and is recognized as the world leading producer of Shea nut. Nigeria produces over 54% shea butter consumed in the world while ghana produces just 5% The lies your ghanaians have been trained to spread is appalling. |

Area4Area:I have giving you a simple understanding of what an investors manager will tell you for a cash. it make more sense to invest in Ghana for a long time benefit but if it a matter of pay back method ( ability to pay back quick) then nigeria slightly edge Ghana because of market size. 1 Like 1 Share |

Tetehjewels:You simply dosnt know it is not about the size but the quality . Ghana export more sheer butter than any country in west africa.... the reason Ghana sheer butter is preferable is based on quality not size. now back up ignorant fools 1 Like 1 Share |

vaxx2:It still boils down to the same thing, the huge Nigerian market dwarfs the rest of West Africa including Ghana and that has been the reason Ghana has been doing everything it can to get access back into the Nigerian market and reason Nigeria and Nigerians are not too bothered because we know that the Ghanaian market is so insignificant to us |

joeGH:I hope you look at the market numbers, and the difference between a Nigerian and Ghanian, we are go-getters, Ghanians are laid back...you can't be what you ain't...the land size to population ratio thing is senseless, it does not give you any real advantage. , Nigeria has the most fertile lands, and more resources than Ghana,On your gold resources, Anglo gold gives your government less than 15%, you guys live on aids, google it and see for yourself, Nigeria FG receives no foreign direct aid, unlike Ghana gets yearly from the US, we help other nations, you see what am saying, Ghana is dependent on aids to survive, so stop comparing yourself to Nigeria, deal with Togo. let's talk numbers, market indices and influence, not nonsense talk. |
Re: Ghana Trade Union Vote To Ban Made-in-nigeria Products Following Border Closure by vaxx2: 1:18pm On Oct 21, 2019 |
Area4Area:Lol.... behold me , even some of Nigeria investor prefer Accra a city with a population of three million than Nigerian second ties city like ibadan or kano with average population of 6 million to 18 million respectively..... Nigeria big investors knows there money and buisness are more safe in Ghana than Any second ties city of Nigeria .... Ghana remains Nigeria’s largest trade partner and favourite investment hub in the West Africa sub-region, as Ghana imports the largest share of all Nigerian oil exports in the West African sub-region. So Ghana is not a country that can be treated like benin and others. the reason for the temporary corridor. 1 Like 1 Share |

Tetehjewels:Again, comparatively production is diffrent from export capabilities. Nigeria produce more yam but you export very little . export buisness is more lucrative than domestic consumption. Ghana export far more yam and make more money on yam export than Nigeria. so learn the empty barrel lier 1 Like |

Re: Ghana Trade Union Vote To Ban Made-in-nigeria Products Following Border Closure by vaxx2: 1:30pm On Oct 21, 2019 |
