GDP per capital is by dividing a country's gross domestic product gdp by its total population. The population of Ghana is way too small compared to Nigeria hence a little difference between their per capital. Compared to Nigeria, both Ghana’s gdp and population are smaller. Ghana having a slight higher per capital does not make the country as an entity a bigger economy or a country with a bigger purchasing power.
