Access resistance for a while (7.30 - 7.35) has finally being broken. Already bidding at 7.05.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Coolcash1: 12:35pm On Oct 24, 2019
I don't understand this FO MTO offer. Why is the company making noise about the MTO when the interested investor could have just bought the Tasere units from the floor and even at a discounted price than what is being offered.

Right now the bid is currently 872,931 units which is 50% above the proposed units to be acquired at 275% discount to the price being offered. This is making me see the scheme as disguised P&-D.... grin

HOLD and guide ur FORTE OIL stake. ...infact, be overprotective of it !!
Some folks might be looking to buy from u.

Remember:

"The reason why most analysts will sing songs of FEAR, is because they are ready to dance to a different melody of GREED.
...and would also do the opposite to u after 'having u dance to rocks of excitement'.
The key lies with knowing when to draw a thin line between the 2, and adjust ur footsteps accordingly."
~Sinclair

"If u desire to fair well in the stock market, then LISTEN to the 'songs' of the leader herds and analyst alike, but pay more ATTENTION to their dance steps.
...It's a good way to Interpret their 'lyrics and choruses', and an even better way to measure the 'rhythm and heartbeat' of the market."

Exactly. If for any reason you are in need of cash, the 'free' money is no longer free.

In one of my ealier post(after analysing the proposed MTO and the coys current fundamental stance), I had mentioned FORTE OIL(together with conoil) as the only oil & gas coys that folks should consider aligning with.
In a previous analysis, I had also said that the former has been grossly underpriced(risk-return in view) given its financial print, and that WITH OR WITHOUT the proposed MTO, it presents a juicy margin that an investor can tap from(value drive behind the price in view)
...well, FORTE OIL is now on full bid. We wait to see where the price rise gets to.

Contrarily, I also said then, that the other coys in the sector, particularly 11 PLC and TOTAL(safe for SEPLAT) are currently overpriced.
...risk margin has since overtaking feasible return and so it'll be best for anyone in them to sell-off their stakes and look to buy later after prices reset in line with current surrounding risk premium.

One of the big worry with the sector(which has really affected big players like total) is the squeeze in margin from reduction in gasoline sales following border closure by the government as it looks to discourage smuggling and boost revenue with better treasury.
On a YoY run, their receivables from subsidies should take a bite as the gov't looks to optimize cost on fuel supply as a temporal alternative to the much better total subsidy removal/deregulation in the sector.

So for those who wish to align with coys in the oil & gas space, I'll only advise FORTE OIL, CONOIL and SEPLAT given their present fundamental stance(current value benchmarked against risk-reward peg)
However, we prefer the 1st 2 on reasons bordering around their current market price.(MoS return in view)

I hope to do an analytical review of the 3rd(SEPLAT) @ a later date.

Salah.

In line with our ealier thoughts, here is 11 PLC(formerly mobil) Q3 financial print. ...which shows a downside accross key revenue and earnings line.

One KEY positive for us though, is the company's very healthy liquidity stance(cash position)

TOTAL had also released a similar downside result.
That said, we believe that 11 PLC is slightly better off than it(total) using certain key fundamental variant on a collective.
Notwithstanding, both coys remain a SELL for us as we see a lower upside potential against a higher risk premium.(risk-reward in view)

It is well.

I do not belive it is going anywhere in a hurry because tomorrow is the closing day, Why would anyone be very desperate to buy after tomorrow? Unless the men in black are plotting to take over?

Yours sincerely only managed to pick up 10 Afolabi units before i maxed out on equity investment allocation.

Any which way, we dey!

And where were you in August 2019 where the prices you see now are much higher than they were in August? grin

People bought FCMB (1.4+), Fidelity(1.4+), UBA(5.4+), Access (5.4+), Zenith (16), GTB (25+) then. And they are still on profit albeit little!
