House, pls, is this FO form worth filling
Peradventure the stock rises in the future, hope that wouldn't freeze our stocks and prevent us from selling on the floor?
cc: everybody
Vee, did they mention that they're delisting it? Cos me I didn't see where that was stated so far. When Ignite bought from Otedola, it was still trading on the exchange, nothing has changed except there'll be a future action but until then, calm your nerves, make we enjoy the small rally. smiley
Filling the form is optional anyway.....but I think it's better to fill it, even if they don't buy, it's worth trying at least. Also, there's nothing like freezing once you sell to them, they collect your shares and pay you money, shikena!
BTW, have you received the form? Or did your broker send it to you?

I do not belive it is going anywhere in a hurry because tomorrow is the closing day, Why would anyone be very desperate to buy after tomorrow? Unless the men in black are plotting to take over?
Even though I don't know much about this take over of thing, just using DANGFLOUR to look at it.
I think tomorrow as the qualifying date does not mean you can't increase your stake in it, before submitting your offer form thereafter, but you must make sure your name appears in their register after tomorrow and before 25th Nov.........na my own I talk o I no know book. grin
It will be clearer if the offer document is circulated before close of biz Tomoro hopefully.

This one is different o

By Monday, you are already qualified and you can sell your holding whenever and you will still get your 10 shares allotment Lol
Just seeing this. Can you explain better sir.

Ignore the 10 shares, just a joke; we don't know how it will be prorated
Qualification is tomorrow; after tomorrow, you can sell all and will still be entitled to your share of the loot grin
Reminds me of those good days when we sell after div qualification and move to the next and next and next Lol

Agba, but there's a form to be filled stating the number of shares you want to offer up for sale. It must be stamped by your broker, your CSCS statement attached to it and to be submitted to Veritas registrar on/before Nov 25th.
Form submission starts from 4th Nov till 25th, reason I said someone may be able to increase his/her stake once qualified Tomoro.
Guess it's more than just selling it, once you sell, you're not entitled to the payment.....that's how I see it going by the letter they published on NSE.
Anyway, we see how it goes......but let anyone holding it get clarification first before selling on the floor.

Oga Rabbi, even those numbers would be defiled if the market keeps dropping. I keep my fingers crossed on tomorrow!

RabbiDoracle:

And where were you in August 2019 where the prices you see now are much higher than they were in August? grin

People bought FCMB (1.4+), Fidelity(1.4+), UBA(5.4+), Access (5.4+), Zenith (16), GTB (25+) then. And they are still on profit albeit little!

You can do a print of your statement on any day AFTER the qualification as evidence; and you don't even have to do this once you remember what you had on the day of qualification. The list they will use will be generated by end of tomorrow. And you can offer everything you have for sale as long as it is less than 500k the want to buy.
