For the tribal bigots

These boys were not just handed their places at the world cup because of their tribes

They have played a rigorous qualifier in Africa before winning the slot to play at the highest level in the world cup.

Are you now saying they should be stripped of their rights and their slot handed over to your tribe of choice to please you?

Where are the Igbo guys complaining that this team is APC team and can't win anything, u see ur life now! The super eagles team is dominated by Igbos no one is complaining, but because this one is not dominated by Igbos, it is quota system and APC things, make u na dey use ur sense now, the brain una have is not for decoration o. This victim mentality will destroy most of u, if u don't change.

Well-done boys.

Abeg how many players dey play football?

Cos e be like say naija plenty pass those Hungarians for field oo. Everywhere na naija, na half field them play the whole of the second half.
It was a well deserved victory, however, naija lacked creativity in the last half of the field. Let's not forget that only one goal was scored in open play and the rest was set piece.

very good display from a hugely talented Nigerian team. talent plus application on display. they also showed character with the way they fought back after being led twice in the match. they basically played a tired Hungary team into submission . excited to see what they can do in this tourney going forward

You marafakas should stop this tribe bullshit.....we don't give a shiit about tribe when it comes to football.
As long as the play well, I don't care if 100% of the team is Igbo,or Yoruba or Hausa... Who gives a fvk

they will go far. Even if it is only Abokis that are in the team, as far as they are playing well and they are flying the Nigerian color, I don't think any Nigerian with a SANE mind will have a problem with that.

Don't mind them. A lot of them just like to condemned any Nigerian team. Always unhappy people. Why can't they keep quiet and just watch the match. Even if they lost the match we just have to continue to praise them. To reach this level is not a day job. Stop condemn them.

Lol.. You could tell from the onset that the Hungarians were no match for us, our boys just needed time to gel. They were confident and kept pushing with patience. Truthfully speaking our boys play ball, but there's still room for improvement sha.

You saw the future.

You should open your own Church! Lol.

Jokes aside, dominating the play for the most part of the match gave me the hint that these boys were good but Hungarians took advantage of their early fright and disorganization to score those goals.

They'll do better with time.

Congratulations to the boys.
Chai ! Those boys are extremely fit,the swiftness of how they get up after a fall is unbelievable, they totally wore the Hungarian boys out. They are skillful and have so much flair is just anxiety that affected their play initially.

The defence is not there yet but can be improved on.The attack is not sharp yet but all these can be improved on.

My guy I'm proudly Igbo, and I'll admit I've had my fair share of tribal bashing on Yorubas (something I'm not even proud of, and have decided to stop for good... life is more important than petty tribal e- fights). I for one completely agrees with you on this. The idiots on here, (yes I mean my Igbo brothers and other jobless pieces of garbage) who are trying to hard too hard to ruin the beauty of a game we should all be celebrating... with their useless tribal conjectures need to GET A FUCCKING LIFE. Those kids are out on the field proudly bleeding the green white green, and bristling with the fierce innocence of patriotism, while we are here misbehaving as usual. When the likes of Ihenacho, Chukwueze, Orji Okonkwo, Ndidi, Chidera Ejike etc all products of our youth systems, Igbos, and are going on to make us proud in their respective careers and services to the nation... everybody regardless of tribe or religious affiliation celebrates them... why can't we do the same for other well meaning Nigerians making the nation proud? I can tolerate political or ethnic trash talk from both sides... but I won't have any idiot ruin the sport I've come to love so much, and indisputably is the one unifying factor/saving grace left in a divided nation called Nigeria, because of some idiotic cynicism or ethnic undertone... keep that sh*t in Politics section.
