God bless you bro. I hope we can live above tribalism in this country. It will do us a whole lots of good.

Driving home this evening with my friends, saw 3 ladies and 2 kids in their broken down car in a very volatile area, we pulled over, not knowing that another man had also pulled over to help them, the occupants of car were igbos, we the Good Samaritans were Yorubas, the other man called his ‘rewire’ To come help them fix the car after we couldn’t fix it, we were there up to an hour just to see that they leave that place ASAP...when the women found out that we were all Yorubas, she just started praying for Us/Nigeria....moral of the story....we are first human before we are of any tribe
Hmmm, this is deep.
God bless your kind heart.
In one Nigeria we believe....
God bless Nigeria.

Oga, do you realize this is the U17 WC? Which well organized team? You call the Hungarian side weak? You obviously didn't listen to the commentaries.

"We may not go anywhere" meaning? Do u even follow the U17s at all?
I may be wrong but Its obvious you started watching U-17 world from this edition for you to come to such conclusion!
Go and find out about the golden eaglets of 1993 and 1985!
I refer to this period because of the youthfulness of the squad then...they were so young yet they played like men!
Well organised and had everything!
Teamwork,Skills,gameplan,showboating...Name them...They had everything!

Have you watched the current U-17 Brazilian team?
Please stop defending mediocrity...we did not go with our best players!
They are just a bunch of individual players trying to impress foreign scouts from top clubs in Europe!
Wait until they meet a formidable opponent before you hastily conclude!

Well my profile creation is contrary to your assertions! smiley
Though the topic of discus has little to do with your number of years on NL!
Its very simple!
You cant compare this dysfunctional team to that of the 85 or the 93!
Saying they will come good after laboring to defeat an obviously poor team like Hungary should be a cause for concern!
Like i said, lets play a better opponent and lets see how this team will perform!
So far,i have not been impressed!

You obviously need home training.

They came Hungary and were fed a four-square meal by the benevolent Nigerians. Isn't that what we love to do? Help the needy achieve their goals.

Nairaland and some online sites can mess up your mind if you are not careful. Sometimes, you just have to ignore the few mental retards who do not see good in other people and find it convenient trying to infect others with their negative minds.

Sadly we’d have to live with that. Outside of social media, we roll and socialise like families. Don’t let anyone infect your mind with negative energy. It’s not worth it.

Go to Innoson threads, they are all there. You’d also see such when super eagles were playing in the past.

Congrats to the Eaglets. These are young boys trying to make a career. They deserve our supports. I’m glad Manu Garba and his lads won. They fought and showed resilience. I wasn’t convinced with their performance during the African qualifying stages, I was apprehensive when they made some defensive errors especially the Hungarian second goal but the Eaglets fought back, displayed so much energies.
I think the Hungarians were jittery in the defence as well, they kept kicking the ball out of touch for throwing every time the Eaglets pressed but they looked dangerous going forward. I believe that most of them would be very successful in a few years.

Nigeria should build on his victory but let’s remember that the main aim of this tournament is to discover tomorrow’s stars.

If up to 3 boys from the set of Eaglets can blossom and play in the big leagues in about 6 years from now, that would be a huge huge success.

A very interesting topic for discussion, I often read football predictions https://www.mightytips.com/free-sport-predictions/football-today/
and tips, although very often it is extremely lazy to do this and try to rely on fate and excitement.
