You think I'm here to drag ethnic rubbish with anyone? Has any of my Post on this thread ever shown that I support any particular tribe?

John Obuh had a more balanced team devoid of quota system, nepotism and tribalism. He even made Azeez his captain and had Omerou as the only starting player from his region. Bulk of his team were yorubas - Azeez, Ajagun, Kayode, Ogungbe etc

John Obuh is a coach that has not been given a kind of accolades he deserves. A good percentage of the players in the SE team from 2013 to recent played under him either at U17 in 2009, U20 in 2011 or U20 again in 2013. Even in the current team players like Semi Ajayi, Jamilu Collins, Kenneth Omeruo, Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon, Ahmed Musa and Ramon Azeez all played under him.

He may not be too sound tactically but one thing I know is he is good at talents discovery. I don't mind he handling our next U20 team.

Even though I don't support the action of those who criticized the team due to tribal inclination, but, I didnt see u this vocal back in 2015 when Forgiveness was doing same on the Amunike led team. He said Amunike took bribe to field his Igbo boys from owerri(nwakali) and umuahia(chuks)
What is my business with what one person did 1880 years ago with what went on last night?

More than 5 members went tribal within a night. That is a new low!

But trust me you will make top 4, i wont agree or ever say this before
Oga Chelsea matter nodey tire you? You mean this current Chelsea team is avarage? Laughable!

I dont know how you rate your average but this Chelsea team I watch week in week out is anything but average. It is 7 in a row now and we are doing so while playing beautiful football.

Concentrate on ur team and leave Chelsea alone. Lets enjoy our beautiful football in peace.

Meanwhile, congratulations to the Eaglets! Rooting for you guys to go far in the tourney.

I just happened to glance at. The attendance is pretty low also.

Attendance will probably pick up in the later stages if Brazil is still there.

So because someone did something 4 years ago (I'm sure he got a backlash), it should be allowed to go viral? Please I need intelligent mentions this Sunday morning sir. Good night

Iheanocho lost a close aid and That is truly awful. You have to feel for the guy, confidence is probably shot and then this happens.
I hope that in keeping with our reputation as a family everyone rallies around him and gives him all the support he is going to need at this tragic time. What a time for this to happen given the emotions that must be running him.

Regardless of what opinions we have of him as a player we should all remember that this is a very young man who is going to be devastated by such a tragic loss of one of his closest friends in such tragic circumstances and next time he pulls on the shirt,we should show our solidarity by giving him our full support

As usual Manu's team struggled in the defense.

He started with 3CBs and 2 wing backs reason why Akinkumi Amao was sacrificed to the bench. Manu please that set up didn't work. Switch back to 4-3-3 or 4-4-2.
Tijani as usual showed leadership in team as his total Dominance in the midfield was too glaring. Overall the midfield did good.

Our attackers didn't click till the final whistle even with the 4-2. All 4 goals from a midfielder and 2 full backs. Manu has to sort out thar attack. Olusegun, very skillful and athletic but he needs to be calmer when taking the final decisions. Ubani did well and was a threat alll night but he still needs to work on his shots
Amoo has to start the next game he brought in creativity and fluidity to that attack. Again I appeal to Manu switch back to a back 4 so Amoo can play next game.

I must also give kudos to Hungary. They are a tactically sound side and played with so much maturity for their age. They only played against a more determined side that has a rich pedigree to protect grin

So happy to be a Nigerian right now. Another crop of players in the products line. Just wait for them.

And to the numerous plastic fans here. This is the U17 WC and WE ARE NIGERIA!!!!!! grin grin

Great recap

Was very happy with their second half performance.

Amoo must start the second half. He changed the narrative.
