How much did Arsenal buy Iwobi for, that you are saying they should give the most expensive African player the same leash? Abi, is 72 million pounds the same as a few thousands?

Let me borrow from komekn, when a player is bought for a high price, he is expected to hit the ground running, if Arsenal wanted a player to grow into the game, they should have just promoted an Academy kid. Heck! Chelsea's team is filled with their Academy graduates and they are posting results, how can you make excuse for someone bought for 72 million pounds?

Thank you, he should not be comparing that guy situation and iwobi

There are even cheap wingers to buy from the championship than to buy a 75 million player and giving him time to do well

If pepe no buckle up in the next 10 games, i trust what the lousy epl media can do

Where is the lie in what he said? Icon is being sincere here

How can you say let him spend the same period iwobi spent at arsenal

You think 75 million is 25 million abi?
Pepe is not Iwobi's direct replacement. I don't know why people keep making this comparison.
He plays at RW while Iwobi mostly plays at LW or AM.

That we should wait for Pepe to spend 3-4 seasons with Arsenal before comparing him with Iwobi. For a player bought for 72Million pounds.

Well, why am I not surprised? undecided

Pepe is not iwobi replacement , but i am just letting you know of what a player should be able to do with that price tag

And mind you wingers are compared to wingers either Left or right so pepe can be compared to iwobi ok, Iwobi plays as more as a winger than AM at his arsenal days.

What if Pepe scores a brace in each of his next 10 games? Will you still make the same comment?

The dude proved his quality with those free kicks. Please lets not be sentimental. Remember there was a time it looked like Osimhen may go into oblivion. We believed in him (because he is a Nigerian). What stops an Arsenal fan from believing Pepe would bring in the heat soonest?

I commented that i am giving pepe 10 more games or so unless he will have the epl media to deal with

Osimhen has nothing to proove as he is just a kid starting his career

Pepe can still do well but pepe wont score brace in the next 3 games let alone 10 games

Now pepe that do score many goals have been sleeping

So u can now look for an excuse for iwobi and not pepe...shey pepe na striker?

Dey re both used as wingers in deir previous clubs? So what else...one scores as a winger in his previous club, one doesn't score as such

If Iwobi was as good as Pepe is supposed to be, Arsenal wouldn't have sold him.

That you are comparing Iwobi and Pepe proves that indeed, Arsenal was scammed by paying such an amount for a player that isn't better than one that "couldn't hit a barn door"

Pepe is not a striker but pepe need few goals he has been a goal scorer from lille so why not arsenal?

Pepe should have gotten about few goals with that price tag even if na 5 epl goals by now should be ok because its not easy, if na 30 million dem buy pepe people no go talk, like i said i am not writing him off, but stop bringing iwobi into this okay, speak the truth even thou you are an arsenal fan, i will still listen to you for now but after 10 games if pepe dont improve then its between him and the lousy british media, iwobi is not as good as pepe so please stop bring him here, deal with pepe issue at the moment, dont come here and tell me of 2 freekick, i know how you arsenal fans insult iwobi if he had a bad game but same cant be said of pepe

Coutinho did well in his first 6 months at barcelona before he became shaky, his stats is not bad for a midfielder/winger but yet he is called a flop because of the price tag.

72 Million.. Pepe was bought as an established player.

Iwobi came into the Arsenal team from the academy. How does make sense to give them the same time?

72 Million investment, he better start showing us value.

We are talking reality here you are saying "what if".

From what he has played thus far he has not been able to add value to the team like Iwobi would usually have done. That is very basic enough to comprehend.

For a 72 Million pounds player he should be setting the EPL ablaze by now.

The problem is that the whole process was not transparent, that is why some people feel victimized rightly or wrongly.
